My Country Tis of Thee
Samuel F. Smith

My country, 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims' pride,
From every mountain side
Let freedom ring.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song;
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break,
The sound prolong.

Our fathers' God to Thee,
Author of liberty,
To thee we sing,
Long may our land be bright
With freedom's holy light,
Protect us by they might
Great God, our King.

This mentions God. It's politically incorect. Where's the ACLU!?

Ah, yes..... the ACLU. AKA: American Communist Losers Union.
Anyways, anyone who claims Bush is as bad as Clinton just hasn't done any research at all.
Freeh and both Clintons should be wearing prison orange.

'ya just can't tell these kids anything.. they've been brainwashed in college, or our "wonderful" public schools.

I dont care where the ACLU is right about now. I want my country back and i want my constitution back.
Bush does have the constitution in the bathroom. I wouldnt be surprised if the paper drags right thru his pantlegs for all to see.....

"I'll rule this country by executive order if Congress won't adopt
my agenda.'' Bill Clinton, 7/4/98 (OMG!!)

Ahhhhhhhh .... the Clintons. We definately have some well
documented quotes from them, don't we?!?!

If Bush thought the Constitution was just a GD piece of paper,
then he wouldn't have bothered to get all uptight and want a
constitutional change making marriage just between a man
and a woman. If he really didn't think the Constitution was
anything important, he wouldn't have bothered saying that
he wanted to change it.

While we're posting quotes, here's a nice, friendly one...

"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - just so long I'm the dictator." George W. Bush December 18, 2000

For even better ones, check out my sig. And, dgtempe,
! That would be too rich if you saw his Constitution butt wipe paper dragging on his pant leg...

truthseeka ... politicians DO provide us with plenty of
fodder, don't they? Interesting bunch, those politicians.
When you get deep down, they are all pretty much alike.
(and it ain't a pretty thing to look at!)

If what I read here in this thread is correct, the Clinton and Bush administrations have effectively taken away virtually all rights to our homes and property and even our bodies since they can force us to work and separate families. That is they have given themselves the legal right to do this by disregarding or overriding the constitution. If the constitution has been overridden for so long, I'm wondering how we can get out of this mess or who to vote for. Both Republicans and Democrats seem to be in on it. Is there something I'm not hearing such as these presidential orders are only good in certain extreme circumstances? I believe there would be another civil war if the government tried to take away from everyone at the same time.

Truthseeka: the problem, is that Bush was joking about the following quote,
"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - just so long I'm the dictator." George W. Bush December 18, 2000,
and Clinton WASN'T joking in the quote you mentioned..... as is evident from HIS executive orders.
