Lol, ATS is not a bank. There are no monthly service charges, nor do your points earn interest.

I personally think that you should still tag for points. But if 1 of your tags needs to removed you can't earn points by tagging for a certin amount
of time. After 2 times you can tag again (or tag for points). After 3 times your account should be taken away.

It would have been nice to see more done with the tags we placed, but I'm not sure where it all stands now.

sheesh I am OCD about tagging threads. If I read or look at a thread I will 99% chance tag it...............
I have even found favorite subjects and gone WAY WAY back via google and tagged all the threads I could find together for easy finding via the tag
system.
.............points or no points I don't care. I do it because I love ATS and to make the site more searchable for everybody who comes here questing
for info.
