Insider appreciation?

How does this work, and how do I get it? Someone please explain....Oh god...that board. it looks like a speed addict got on my account, and posted half a bajillion things...LOL. Peace.

posting a lot won't get you any ' insider appreciations', quality, not quantity, counts.

Insider appreciations are awarded by the moderators, supermoderators and admins. To stimulate good behaviour.

I noticed that over the last 20 minutes, you posted 15 messages. One hint, think more before you post, do some research and you will receive insider appreciations eventually...

It's not like that. I wasn't trying to wrangle some Insider Appreciation. I just happened to have alot to say, and since I haven't been around recently, I just went nuts. Sorry to offend. I tried not to gum up the threads with useless replies. Peace.

I got one...which was stripped from me.

Colonel, they can't be removed.
Even AV, FM, David, Tyler and all of them still have their points and they're banned...

Only ATS staff can see it, same for warnings,
however, you still get the u2u.

OHHHH, only ATS staff can see it. I understand now. Its there but, I just can't see it---so, its not "really" stripped. Just invisible. OOOOOOkkk.

Actually Tass, isn't it "somewhat visible" by the color of the "post meter" under the mood meter??? I thought the more you had the more red it turned. Although, it takes quite a few for it to actually turn red.

But, that may have changed too. That was a few weeks ago I read that.

hmmmm, you may be right, I did miss about two weeks of site upgrades a while back...
That would explain a lot, however, mods and admin can't have appreciation points unless they were awarded before elevation to "moderator" status, and most the mods and admin have orange or red.
ex.
Dragonrider has three points, and I have four. He has an orange colored bar and I have gray.
It may have something to do with post count...?

Yeah, they were saying that orange means MOD ADMIN etc. I will try to find that thread. Mine is gray and I have three (just got third this AM) so I am not totally sure. Will try to follow up.

Moderators have gold bars.

You will see a deeper shade of reddening of your own post count bar with every ten insider appreciation points (or maybe less now).
