I've just been reading through this thread, and I have to say I've never come across such hostility towards a belief or concept before. I've been
doing a lot of reading into C/I's lately, and although there is a lot of wishy washy nonsense I find to be too heavily reliant on spirituality and
metaphor, the underlying concept - that we are seeing a new generation of humans being born who are essentially the next step in evolution and/or
paving the way for some kind of advancement in our race - not to be completely out of bounds of reason. Just because something cannot be explained by
science yet, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. To quote "Men in Black" (not that I want to degrade my argument with film quotes, but this one has
always rung true I thought):
Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat...
Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.
Although I completely disagree with labelling anyone diagnosed with ADD or ADHD as being an "Indigo Child", we can't go to the other extreme and
label every Indigo Child as just someone who has ADD / ADHD or just wants to feel special.
As for the person who said they feel like they want to punch any Indigo Children they see, there's something inherently sad and upsetting about that.
This world is filled with enough hatred and anger as it is; why add to it? To the person who said this (I apologise, as I can't actually remember
your username at the time of writing this!), and to all of the people posting such negative messages, I hope that one day you'll learn a little
tolerance and acceptance.
