It's a marketing scam to get you to watch their movie.

It's probably similar to when Geraldo found Al Capone's vault. Huge build up to an even larger waste of time.

Ok, It seems it is a movie/documentry. Since it was declared both, I take that to mean it is not all fact.

the secret is that if you hype something enough, people will pay big money for it. people will clamor for it and watch anything that enough advertising promotes and a bunch of rich people will get richer. Not much of a secret is it but it's true.
