Saturn's satellite Iapetus has something quite irregular than any other moon i have ever seen...It looks like it was glued together with a seam runing right along it equator. What does everyone think....pretty amazing stuff.....what do you think would cause this?

There has been dozens of websites and articles from alien bases to the death star to a wierd moon itself. Make a choice in what you believe in.

Enterprisemission has a big article on it. I suppose its an interesting read, but in the end it becomes a little TOO absurd, lol. Especially when he starts reading an alien civilization out of a 2x2 set grey pixels.

your guess would be as good as mine. But, If I had a guess I would say that 2 planets the aprx same size hit in a head on collision, combining the 2 moons into one bigger one.

Ya just gotta love the Cassini spaccraft, it has taken some truley amazing pictures, and the best part it its only just begun, its got several years to go.

Here some recent pics of a few Saturn moons, that Nasa compiled together.
