Here's a question for the best and brightest out there!!

Why are all the recent disasters in blue states. Being December 7th, lets start with Pearl Harbor in Hawaii? Then there was 9/11 with the Pentagon, WTC and Flight 93 in New York, Virginia and PA? How about Katrina in Louisiana?

Its starting to look like our Blue States (under Democrat leadership) are **** Magnets!!!

Perhaps the government can answer some of these questions...as far as natural disasters, notice they are along the coast , where hurricanes are prone to be?

dgtempe .... hurricanes, and earthquake fault lines. MAJOR
fault lines run up the West Coast through Calif, Oregon, and
Washington, but they also run all the way from Maine down
through NYC, DC to North Carolina.

So perhaps the question should be ... why do democrats continue
to build in areas of the country where they KNOW natural disasters
will hit? Because they don't know any better, or because they know
they can be bailed out with our tax money through FEMA etc. etc.??

Just giving ya' a hard time. I know the New Madrid runs
through some red states and hurricanes hit Texas, which is a
red state as well.

I don't think blue states are magnets ... it's just a matter of people
building where they shouldn't. Like New Orleans ... that was a city
that SHOULDN'T have been built where it was and it SHOULDN'T
be rebuilt. A city being built under sea level, next to the ocean,
in Hurricane country? DUMB!!

What kind of thread is this?

You know, every time I read a thread like this, a cute little puppy gets stomped to death.
In this case, two were savagely stomped to a hideous, bloody paste

*Mod edit*

Anywhos, As for national disaters I would think of those being pretty evenly divided between red and blue, though hurricane states are mostly red. As for Terrorism, I would assume the terroist would attack the cultural and financial centers of the U.S. ie New York. Also the states with a higher IQ level.

chrisevans3d.com...

Oh and those same red state had higher levels of Divorce, probably because of their morality

I question your characterization of LA and NY as both blue states.

NY voted for dems in the presidential races, but had a Republican governor and the city a Republican mayor during 9/11. The situation was reversed in Louisiana.

So I'm not really getting the point you're making and how you are making a connection between the blueness and the disasters.

Cute puppies too bad they have to grow up to be dogs. As for NY its true blue. The Governor is immaterial it's Presidential elections that count and I'm quite sure we almost went for George McGovern. The Dems can count on NY.

NY hasn't gone for a Republican for President since the re-election of Ronald Reagan, so yes it certainly is blue there. But our governor is a Republican, and the author of this thread seems to be talking about who was running the state on 9/11, not who the state sent to the electoral college.
