I Thought ATSNN Submissions Were Anonymous?

I don't get over to ATSNN very often but found it strange that my username is posted on the ATS board right after I posted a submission.



One click on my name takes me to the story that I posted.
Where is the anonymity in that????

I guess it's supposed to be the last post on any ATSNN thread.

But I also guess with a little detective work one could put two and two together and figure out who the anonymous thread starter was, but only if they were quick enough like you were.

It is a minor-problem with the process, something which I am sure Skeptic will iron out but he is a busy bunny and it is Christmas time.

If he never fixes it, I would guess it can't be fixed.

Your best bet is to post it with the 'Gripe/Idea' button, as there is more chance he'll see it there.

I pointed this out not long after the "anonymous" voting system was first implemented, but it looks like it was never fixed.

There are other ways to uncover the identiity too, I imagine fixing all of them just wasn't worth the trouble.
