Black figure in doorway

so, i was on vacation in florida and was at a party.

I was sitting with some family at a table, talking about stuff with my NAVY Seal uncle.

we had shut the door 5 minutes before, and all of a sudden the door came open. as it opened, myself and a family friend saw a black figure move across the doorway.

any ideas of what happend?

What door? Front entrance to house? A bathroom door? Closet door??

Did any of you get up and go check it out?

What happened after???

Was the black figure in the shape of a man, monkey, amorphus entity etc.

any noises, smells, tastes etc?

Were liquor or drugs being consumed around the "family table"?

Were the lights on or off, bright or soft?

Was it a halloween Party?
