Japanese Red Army(JRA)

I was surfing the internet, and their name seems to show up in many places. According to en.wikipedia.org... the JRA were the first to conduct a suicide bombing in Israel. Also

members of the JRA became instructors in martial art and Kamikaze operations at several Hezbollah training camps bringing the suicide techniques to the middle east.

Furthermore, according to mepatriot major news sources reported that the Japanese Red Army claimed responsibility for 9-11.

It appears many of the group's members have ended up in prison(see en.wikipedia.org... ). However, estimates seem to vary for the number of members, ranging from 6 to 100 members (see www.ict.org.il... and www.totse.com... and
www.fas.org... ) with connections to the Palestinian movement in the Middle East along with North Korea.

While these numbers may sound small, it is easy to underestimate the power of a well-trained, determined group. Many insurgency have had great influence with only a handful of members.

It is interesting to note that the JRA has historically had ties with the PFLP, a marxist Palestinian group. This group is currently a faction of the PLO. However, the PFLP has failed to draw significant support in recent years. Although, they apparently suceeded in assasinating Rehavam.

Could the JRA be responsible for 9-11? If they were, would the US try to cover this up? If the 9-11 attack were blamed on Marxist groups, then those groups would likely experience a resurgence throughout the Arab world. Presumably, they would less amenable to big oil than islamists.

Can anyone find anything else about the JRA?
