Woodward-Bush connection, Watergate and JFK

I was watching Woodward on Larry King this week. When I realized that he was riding to Libby's rescue (and more significantly to Cheney's) it suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks: Woodward has been a Bush operative since the very start.

Implication number one is that Watergate was a Bush operation. That led me to ask myself about other presidencies. The last president who did not have a catastrophic problem in his administration AND was not a Bush was Eisenhower. He left us with his famously prophetic statement about the military industrial complex coursesa.matrix.msu.edu...

The next presidents were

Kennedy: Assassinated
Johnson: Does not seek second term
Nixon: Watergate
Ford: TWO assassination attemtps
Carter: Iran hostage crisis (iran-contra connection)
Reagan: Assassination attempt while Bush was VP
Bush Sr:
Clinton: Impeached, airplane crashes into WH Sept 11th 1994
Bush Jr:

What was the role of the Bush camp, if any, in all these troubles, including the JFK assassination and Watergate?
