Let me take a shot at the argument so far.
While I (naturally) do not accept that numerology is a discipline with predictive power, it does seem that there is a group of decision makers using a
numerological code to plan significant events. This may be out of a genuine belief in numerology, or as a "calling card" of a particular
organization, or maybe even for fun. At the moment, I lean toward the calling card explanation, and I think the calling card is used mostly for
intimidation purposes, sort of like the Black Hand of the early 20th century.
Whatever the motivation, it seems that the roots of the system are 3 and 11. This is probably related to 3 * 11 = 33, the traditional age of Christ
at the crucifiction, and also the number of degrees in the Scottish and Egyptian masonic rites.
In the early 80s, a fundamentalist author published a book claiming that Jesus was born on September 11th of the year 3 BC. Note the 3 (year), 9
(month, 3*3), and the 11 (day). This was widely discussed well before 9/11/01 (for example
groups.google.ca...
5d4f)
That date for the birth of Jesus may be the inspiration behind the 3/11 system, or it may be an indication that it was already in use by a group by
the early 80s. I will discuss below some tentative evidence that it may have been in use even earlier.
Here are the main data points related to the use of the 3/11 system since 1990:
9/11/90: In the wake of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, GHW Bush gives his famous "New World Order" speech in Congress
(
bushlibrary.tamu.edu...). This speech was delivered 11 years day for day before 9/11/01.
9/11/94 (in fact 9/12/94 at 1:49 AM, but on the night of 9/11): A small plane crashes into the White House. Given operational constraints, the
difficulty of getting someone to pull this off at a given day and time, could easily have been planned for 9/11/94. In fact, Corder took off in his
plane at 11:55 on 9/11. Note that the hour is 11 and the minutes are a multiple of 11. Interestingly, later that fall a man shot at the White House
on October 29th (2+9 =11).
9/11/01: Attacks on NYC, DC, and the Anthrax incident begins. Flight 11, flight 77, the two towers look like 11, etc. Covered ad nauseam. Probably
intended as the PNAC's "new Pear Harbour", necessary to convince the american public to support the United States' new mission.
3/11/04: Madrid. Again, within operational constraints, can be considered to have happened 911 days after 9/11/01. Taking into account the time
difference between NYC and Madrid, the events are within hours of being 911 days apart.
3/11/05: Federal judge and several others shot dead in a Georgia courtroom. Two pentagon mail sorting facilities detect Anthrax. Exactly 1 year
after Madrid. Probably intended to intimidate the Judicial Branch and the Pentagon.
Possible earlier calling cards:
9/11/41: Pentagon ground breaking ceremony. Construction of the center of American power is launched on 9/11. Either this, in combination with the
fortuitous later date for the birth of Christ is the origin of the 3/11 system, or it is one of its earliest recorded instances.
23/11/63: JFK assassination. This one is problematic. 6+3=9, the month is 11, but the day is one away from a multiple of 11. merely suggestive.
5/6/68: RFK assassination. 5 + 6 = 11.
(interestingly, MLK does not fit the pattern at all)
5/11/81 and 22/11/81: Ford assassination attempts. Both in September, one of them on the 22nd, a multiple of 11, both of them by women (highly
unusual). Some convincing intimidation, if it is.
30/3/81: Reagan assassination attempt. This is the earliest "solid" lead. 30 + 3 = 33, 8+1 = 9. It is tempting to think someone planned it that
way.
Throughout history, powerful organizations have used such signals to intimidate and increase their control. Some of these symbols were widely known
and feared by the public (like the Black Hand), and some were intended only for a select few aware of their meaning. I propose that an organization
is currently using a numeroligical system based on the numbers 3 and 11 to mark the significance of certain events for those who know how to interpret
the signals.
