Weird Flash in the sky

The other night I was talking to a friend outside like around 2:30 in the morning and I just happened to notice this really bright flash in the sky. It looked like a falling star at first but then it just popped in the sky like a flashbulb going off.
Im wondering if it might have been like plane flying high taking pictures at night or something But they probalby don't use flash like ordinary cameras.

did you get any pictures or anything like that? there was a thread somewhere with something kind of similiar the ufo fireball one.
