Firstly, I would have been totally put off by the requests for CD players and so on. Something's wrong when the needy kids need an Xbot or X box or whatever. Ugh! That makes me sick!

I would get the boy a pair of jeans and a couple shirts, maybe a T-shirt (with a cool picture) and a sweatshirt. Maybe some socks and a cool baseball hat. Maybe even a pair of less expensive tennis shoes 1/2 size larger than the size indicated.

Good idea, wupy! A board game. Cards.

We don't do Christmas between ourselves, but DH puts his change in a bowl all year long and on Christmas Eve we roll it all up and take it out and give it to homeless and needy people. It's good for them and we benefit, too!
