Member vs. member

I've noticed most plain members (non-mods, non-council, non-admin, non-writer etc.) have the title of "Member" but some have the title of "member" (lowercase 'm').

Is there any significance to this?

From what i can see its only members who have joined up this month that have "member" instead of "Member"

other than that i dont think there is any meaning to it what so ever

It's a new development since early this month. No biggy.

Also notice how mods without custom titles are Moderators whereas those with titles are MODERATORS.

Your not alone there SD....... I came hoping for a deathmatch slot on the new TV show, where Members are pitted against each other when simple dialogue fails......

Yeah, I was misled here too. I was expecting member A dressed all in white and member B dressed all in black. Then they would do goofy things like put bombs in the other ones alarm clock, just to find out that that alarm clock gets mailed back to them. They could also have lots of mechanical extendable boxing fists. Oh, and occaisionally one of them should be crushed by a massive weight that says 1000lbs on the side of it.
