Now, being the silly puppy I am, I forgot my Laptop and it is still around a friends. This is what I use to record and do all of my music editing.

Does anyone know of a free program I could download, where I am able to 'cut' parts of MP3's, WMA files, etc up and merge them together as I want to do my first podcast tonight while I have chance?

Thank you kindly,
Odium

Find a program called audacity then find lame mp3 encoder so you can export it as mp3.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

cpr's right. And here's instructions on how and where to get Audacity and lame. The first time you save a file from Audacity (export as mp3) it will ask you to locate the lame dll file you downloaded. Then you're home free!

Thank you both.

The reason I ask for this, is because I wish to take a few songs I have on my P.C. and cut parts of them out to take lines such as "Bringing you back what you miss - hard truth" and so on and so fourth for when I really get into the swing of PODcasting.
