Bloop???

Has anyone else heard about this? this sound was picked up by spy sonar and was estimated to come from a big underwater animal. I'm talking dwarfing-a-blue-whale big!

They think it might be a giant octopus or colossal squid (bigger than a giant squid) but there are doubts as no known molluscs are capable of producing sound.

Any thoughts?

An interesting phenomenom to be sure, and it bears some serious investigation. Considering that we now have metallic glass, how about building a "Seaview" for deep ocean exploration?

Sounds like a bubble of gas escaping from the crust or something, exactly like bloop.
