I can't believe I ACTUALLY won, I never win anything!

I would like to thank all the people that made this possible.

I would like to thank my mom for always supporting me.

I would like to thank my therapist for giving the power to "just do it".

I would like to thank SkepticOverlord for......

**leans over to hear what kinglizard is whispering in his ear**

"What do you mean I DIDN'T win?"

**leans over AGAIN to hear what kinglizard is whispering in his ear**

"What do you mean I didn't EVEN run?"

UMMM.....Nevermind everyone!

Thank you...Thank you very much!

Congradulations all.
Some of those I voted for actually won. Some didn't. Just like a REAL Election that I go to the Polling Booth for! Good luck to both in the Run-Off, but I will vote the same way I did earlier. I think you are both so good that I win, no matter which of you does. That's how I feel with quality candidates. First time out I struggled with this race.

Question-----With so many members, why did so few bother to vote? After reading some of these threads of all types, I never expected such APATHY. Let's face it, so many here have strong opinions about so much, why wouldn't they share in the decision making process?

I have probably cast a wrong vote in Local, State and Federal elections in the past, and someday I may here, BUT, I vote anyway. I was raised to believe that thr Right to vote is more of an Obligation. You do it or risk losing the opportunity altogether.

Again, Congradulations to the Winners, and better luck next time to those not so fortunate.

Congrats to all the winners!

And a pat on the back and a shot of whiskey for those who didn't win. Remember..there can be only one!

And best of luck to the deej-meister and May!

Congrats to all winners and good luck to Mayet and DJ in the ATSNN runoff.

To outgoing council members for a fine job in this ATS experiment.
To those who ran but did not get enough votes.

Congratulations Hellmutt, AgentSmith, The RiverGoddess, brodband, Lysergic (Dude!) and Odium! I know you’ll all do a great job.

Good luck to Mayet and djohnsto77! Wow! What a tight race!

And well-done, all!

A great big thanks to the 103 people who voted for me, I'll be running for the next council position for sure so remember why you voted for me!!

Congrats to those who won and as for May and DJ, wow what can I say? You guys really have pushed the tension-o-meter up to flat knacker.

I'm publically siding with Mayet in this run off as we are so very similar. A win for May is a win for me - as it is a win for ATSNN. I would ask that my beloved voters who voted for me cast them for May in the ATSNN run off. She deserves it, she's great

Congratulations to the winners, and well done, but unlucky, to all those that took part.

Just out of curiosity, how does one become a candidate for the elections?

In these latest elections, there was a thread posted by the admins about a month ago for people to announce their intention to run. In the first elections, it was an open nominating process. Not sure how it will happen next time (if there is a next time), but I'm sure it will be announced in a BQB thread well in advance.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to:
Hellmuttx2
AgentSmith
The RiverGoddessx2
Lysergicx2
Odium

and most of all to brodband.

Remember what I mentioned to you before in relation to your mention:

as posted by brodband
...This is the second time that I have ran for this position and I am sure that you will probably win because of being a former mod...

as posted by seekerof
Despite my past within ATS, you have every opportunity to win and make a difference.
Remember that, for it is the truth.

Vote brodband for your DISC Councilor

See? I did not lie.

Great work and my best to you brodband, and the rest of the newly elected Council members.

Furthermore, the best of luck to both Mayet and djohnsto77 in the upcoming run-off.

And hey, since other members are blatantly doing it: I petition and implore all those that voted for me, vote for djohnsto77.

At any rate, be proud, do your best to serve the community, and be objectively fair. My best to you ALL again. WTG!

If you love this place and make it a part of your life, which is easy to do, then next time nominations are called go for it...

Its rewarding...just running even... and the heart stopper when it was a draw.... :bnghd:
