ASX Files

Can't play these, WIndows site isn't any help, what do I do? They are small so like them over avi/mpg, yet don't work. The file "plays" but no sound or video, just the timer goes along at the bottom. I tried google but all sites said go to Microsoft, which I did, and they don't have the solution.
