Kees Boeke

Christian pacifist Kees Boeke was born in Holland, but raised in England among Quakers. He married Betty Cadbury, daughter of the chocolate manufacturer. In Bilthoven, Netherlands, they built a “Brotherhood House” and gathered people committed to their radical brand of pacifism. Kees and Betty refused to touch money, rejected all moneymaking activities, and used Betty’s Cadbury inheritance to set up a fund for the workers of the chocolate factory. They refused to pay taxes or even buy postage stamps. When they crossed a toll bridge, they paid with eggs. Kees Boeke was instrumental in establishing the International Fellowship of Reconciliation in Holland, Germany, and France. He is also highly regarded as an educational pioneer; even the Queen of Holland enrolled her daughters in his alternative school.

Boeke's ideas are taught in these schools and worked upon and advanced by later students of his. One of those students is Gerard Endenburg, who stated

This, to my mind, parrallels some of the 'evolutionary sociology' thinking, wherein its understood that past socieities have gone thru and unraveling of 'stages', progressing onwards into 'higher' stages (this is, of course, not very much like actual biological evolution of course). In some groups the capitalist state is seen as the highest form, in others the communist state. I beleive that marx and a lot of other communists in particular bought into this sort of thinking and saw socialism as a natural stepping pad into a perfected communist utopia.

He worked briefly for Phillips Electronics, designing a flat speaker that is still used in small electronic equipment today. Then his father challenged him to manage a small, failing business he had purchased. In less than a year Gerard had made the business profitable and merged it with his father's company[...]Sociocracy is rule of an organization by the "socii," that is, people who regularly interact with each other and have a common aim.

There is a community in Virginia State in the US that is governed by this sociocracy.

Each member works 42 hours a week in the community's business and domestic areas. Each member receives housing, food, healthcare, and personal spending money from the community.

Interesting that there is a double focus on skinner. Definite centrally planned and sociological, applied psychological drive here.

They continue to focus on educational training and indoctrination for their ideology

and Future Residents of Twin Oaks are expected to participate in these learning Circles before becomming residents.


Came across this information in some random ways. Seems to be very compatible and 'meets the mark' of many requirements for an NWO agenda, especially the focus on Educational Institutions and Policing (apparently its used in a few police training centers).

What do any of you think?

The focus on Skinner is creepy. Haven't heard of this before, but I like the idea of no money. Gold is good enough, IMO. I need to do some reading, check your links, and follow up. No time now - but great starting point for discussion. Good work.

The double focus really means nothing in this case. Back in the pre-google days meta keywords were one of the ways the search engines (excite, altavista, looksmart, etc..) determined what the site was about. In this case, if they just had skinner in their keywords and someone searched for B. F. Skinner the site might not show up.

It was pretty common to use different spelling, breaking the word up to it's root, etc... to help the SE place your site higher in the the ranking for searches that were relevant to your site. It's still used today, but google doesn't use them much so many webmasters don't bother with putting them in anymore.

Interesting infomation Cug, that makes sense.

I have also found out that the Walden Two keyword is another skinner reference, skinner wrote a book about a utopian society in which, apparently, behvioural modificiation was the MO for creating the perfect society.

Also, I found a book by the founders of the Twin Oaks community about it, titled "A Walden Two experiment' with a preface from Skinner.
