Gary Glitter On The Run After Caught Living With 15 Year Old "Wife" in Vietnam

Paul Francis Gadd who is better known to the world as glam rocker Gary Glitter is reportedly on the run after being caught in Vietnam living with a 15 year old "wife" in a tourist resort for the past three months. Glitter who is 66 years old has already been jailed for possessing downloaded child pornography in 1999 and has previously told British tabloid reporters that if he is caught he will just move on to another country. He was previously barred from Cambodia in 2002.

Why aren't people trying to close up the loopholes in the police surveillance records so that a better eye is kept on sickos like this?? Also, i mean yea here in ''civilised'' countries sex is taboo and sex with someone that young is immoral. But in the rest of the world 15 years old is good enough. And not that i support sex with teenagers, but i totally understand this guy position. Well, that's not much of a surpise. The guy is a dick. If there was a Hell, he'd burn along with Barrymore and Pete Waterman . Also, on the subject of sex with 15 year olds, it's legal in Japan to have sex with girls who are 13, so it might be different culture. But this is Gary Glitter. And unless there was a massive conspiracy that went to the top levels of government and KFC, to stop Gary Glitter from being hailed rock god, then he gets what he deserves.

Don’t be so outrage, the age on consent world wide is actually very low, and including USA we have to states that are 14 years of age.

Most countries in the Middle East don’t even have consent age.

And many third world countries are a young as 13.

So If a child molester go to any of these countries that takes foreigners and marry an under age child by their standards he is not braking the law in that country.

The US now have a law that allows them to prosecute you, if you're a US citizen, for child abuse you committed while abroad. They've got a few people with it, too.

Yeah, Glitter is basically admitting he doesn't want treatment, he wants to continue with is "illness" instead.

I was in Cambodia when they barred him. His lawyer tried to claim that he hadn't broken any Cambodian law and so there was no reason to cancel his visa and deport him. Hey, if the US can bar your entry for a crime committed elsewhere, why not Cambodia? Especially that kind of crime.

Now he's being held in custody and could face a charge that brings the death penalty.

Yup. He was having sex with a 12-year-old. He paid her, but still they consider it as child rape so he could be executed.
