Evilution, excellent quotes there! I am saving those for future reference! thank you.

I don't even think you should be warned for your insults since Kitty is obviously violating the Terms of Service here with her ridicule and insults.

Well then again, any kind of insults, even if they are counter are grounds for warning...lol...

Well Kitty, we will have the last laugh when Disclosure comes around, I feel like it will be soon...possibly in 2006~2008

People go crazy for any number of reasons. UFOs being one of the rarest of all.

I would say religion makes for an extremely high number of lunatics, but then I'm going off topic and making flame-bait material similar to this thread's subject matter.

Problems With Arguments for Legitimacy
For many it would appear that qualification for proof is based in years of repeated tellings of iconic beings without ever having said beings put on public stage and scrutinized scientifically.

The list of characters that exceed Aliens in cultural capicity, support and retelling is long. Gnomes, fairies, sea monsters, dragons, big foot, and other mythical creatures. They have all been around much longer and can make the same arguments for legitamacy.

Proof and evidence in tellings and re-tellings of events do not legitimize them. Time simply is not a tool to argue proof. Concrete Physical for aliens or UFO evidence currently is equal or less than that of mythical events or creatures.
If the argument is I have to prove that Aliens don't exist, then I also have the same job to prove Fairies don't exist. For all intents and purposes, if I want to insist on the existance of Fairies, I must present incontrvertable proof of my claims. Otherwise, where does it end.

Lets see... Your insults are childish, that I am "stupid"... man whatever! I would have gotten insulted if it weren't for the fact that you actually believe in ET visiting our planet. I would really be stupid to argue with a person like you. And if you lived around my area I would make you cry cause of all of the fun I would be poking at ya. Go play with your plastic flying saucers elsewhere kid.

Luckily I’ve gained 250 points from what I posted in reaction to your thread that was padlocked, so I can use these points I will lose to ridicule your ‘stone knives & bearskins’ Neanderthal dinkthinking.

Whoopee for you!! Now go and see if you can claim your prize. I heard they have some really neat alien figures, if you gain enough points you might get lucky and catch the last one.

"I've gained 250 points"
Thats funny. You big Play'a

This is a true story. My main mentor that I met though a call to report a possible sighting through MUFON about 11 years ago was a great lady. We had weekly get together meetings at each others houses and she seemed to be an OK minded person with many theories to share. Will, without boaring everyone here, about 5 years though our UFO friendship she all of a sudden started acting really wierd. She would say that there were MIB following her home when she when out. Black helicopters hovering and flying around her trailer. A real paranoid thing when on for a long time and it just kept getting worse and worse. My family and I would set and talk about it and wonder what is happening to this woman. This is not the same woman we met years before. It seemed like after she became the district MUFON director is when this all began. One day about 3 years ago, we get a call from her saying there are three black cars parked outside her home and that we need to find new friends. We have not seen or heard from her since. Now that is what I would for sure call someone going crazy. The very last time we knew she was at the house was when we found our logged portfolios in our mail box and had here from a counterpart that she just up and left MUFON and handed in all her investigative findings back to the leader. Wierd, very wierd I know. But the truth.

It is nothing less than obfuscation and an attempt to distract attention from data to equate the existance of UFOs with fairies. It is, if I may, nothing less than a schoolyard argument.

For argument's sake, we will start by disregarding ALL - to date - collected photographic evidence.

We will disregard ALL - to date - abduction accounts and close encounter experience testimonies from the most reliable, credible civilian experiencers.

We will disregard ALL - to date - the most credible testimony and eyewitness accounts; police, firefighters and their ilk.

Let us simply look at what remains for compelling and professional corroboration.

Let us examine the countless military and commercial pilot interactions with these remarkable, unknown machines, in situations where often entirely empirical testing of data has been recorded. One could not ask for a much better 'test lab' for the UFO phenomenon than in the cockpit of a military fighter or commercial airliner.

In both situations there are one, or more, specialists in the field of atmospherics and aerodynamics in a 'flying laboratory,' well-equipped with scientifically-approved and understood instrumentation which can record and note verifiable time frames, locations, altitudes, longitudes, latitudes of the UFO phenomena. Additionally, and obviously, there is also (in countless cases) verification by radar -- which constitutes a second 'laboratory' of qualified, educated and capable specialists interpreting data.

Apart from pilots in their 'flying laboratories' and their ground-based radar counterparts, there is now also the testimony of astronauts who are increasingly detailing UFO evidence and information outside of the stratosphere.

From these three sources alone, there exists undeniable proof of the 'flying saucer.'

UFOs have entered practically every 'sensitive' international airspace, been tracked on uncountable civilian and military radars, been pursued by the finest and most advanced flying machines on the planet, eye-witnessed by our best trained pilots, even fired upon (or so attempted) by pilots dating all the way back to reports from WWI aviators over England. Our visitors have been tracked at speeds exceeding all known propulsion or contemporary technology and fully-defying the laws of *our* physics. Flying Saucers have on scores of occasions brought military units, including our nuclear forces, to full alert and then engaged those forces in what appear to be tests of our technological capacity. Flying Saucers of gargantuan size have been seen at close range by both civilian and military professionals and verified by radar...both ground and airborne. Some would even say our visitors have taunted and played with our military...the reports of incursions into our SAC bases being particularly extraordinary.

Millions of dollars are spent every year by air force units around the world from every advanced nation to intercept these aerial interlopers. Countries do not spend that kind of money chasing Venus, 'heat inversions' or intercepting fairies.

These events are on record. Stanton Friedman and many other researchers have amassed such data, and this is nothing new or earthshaking (to the UFO educated). Iraqi & Israeli Air Force, as well as the French government, have been entirely open about their UFO encounters. Several of our own astronauts have openly told about their encounters with UFOs when in the Air Force. Major Donald E. Kehoe spent the latter part of his life documenting such cases provoked by personal experience. Filer's Files frequently and archivally have records of such events. These aren't buried someplace!

They've been known to anyone wanting to learn about it for years. Do you have any idea how much it costs to send your best fighters after a radar detected interloper traveling at 3000 mph over sensitive airspace (only to close in on it and discover it's not a missile, but a silver disc with brilliant lights playing cat and mouse)? Any person in the air force will confirm this fact: it costs millions, even if it only happens a few times a year.

Ever go to one of Stanton Freedman's lectures? Please make it a must go next time there is a symposium near you. Also, (I won't go into any detail, just a blast of light in the sky down here on night) had the privledge of speaking to Steven Greer via phone. There is some compeling evendence out there that these things do exsist. I personally feel now days that alot of the sightings are ones that are "Made In The U.S." tye deal. But, then again, where did our techno come from. We have advanced in techno at an excellerating speed over my years here on this 3rd rock from the sun. I too have seen enough craft I can not identify in my lifetime. I may be a little deranged (LOL) but I for sure don't think I will ever go crazy over UFO events. I consider myself an avid UFO believer and have been since the 60's. I'm still same and here.

I may try and consider myself a UFO/Alien scholar and an avid government conspiracy theoist. But I sure in heck have a hard time with these letters. Edidted for spelling again darn it!

So the case is - Yes... Indeed we do go crazy...

But theres a reason why we go crazy.

It's heavy subject... And it will change the face of the earth..
And i think that it is a very potential subject to hope for..

I don't want to go to war kill or murder...For that course.

The war should stay with our words... Not bullets and baseball bats..
We have all shown in this thread...
How explosive this subject is.... And it might show us the full-force-energy when these secrets are revealed to the publich mind... We need it - to heal this planet...
We are just waiting and waiting - And some people have waited for over 50 years... Thats a long time - waiting...For a human being.

I have a hard time imagine the outburst of tears that will come in those days.. It's gonna be great.
And we gonna build greenhouses all over this planet... i hope.

It's a good thing we get exited over this... Cause it's something that will change everything. And that is why we get crazy...

Im amazed to read that it cost millions to hunt these craft's playing cat and mouse... Only a few times a year..

We do need a new energy source...And we need to end the slavery - and start living in self producing greenhouses when those days come.

And offcourse we need some kind off police patrolling the planet - But not like we have it today... Not like this... Everything will change... 3rd countries will have free energy also... Africa will blossom... Rainforrest will be regenerated.. And i have a feeling that we will stop eating animal-flesh.
And much much more...

Yes we do have a right to go crazy... But it's bad to lie... Like some Government does today... And maybe they lie cause of this subject.. where oil come into the picture...(Free energy = UFO)..

it's heavy..

And evilkillerkitty.. You did good to post this.. Cause you just showed us all how explosive this is... It's good with some resistance...an Anti-ufo session..

I will say it's a good thread...

You just ahead - talk behind our backs it's fine... And a normal behaviour...These days.

Cause we are the crazy UFO-people!!!

You had your reaction!! - We are on full alert!!

Hello Sky_Child, I agree with you. In fact, my post supports the existance of UFOs backed by expert witnesses.

There are far more people who've gone mad "outside" the UFO venue than have gone mad within it.

However, part of UFO-spawned madness springs from failed attempts of experiencers to convince authorities and friends of their experience, and thus their ensuing frustration overtakes these unbelieved souls. Souls who dared to tell their stories to watchmen/friends who are both deaf, indifferent, and poorly educated regarding the volumes of corroborated UFO data.

Beezer here, good day all.

Let me start out by saying that it is ok to believe in aliens, and it is ok not to believe as well.
What is not ok is insulting someone for their views.
I do think that everyone here gets enough oxygen on a daily basis, and if they don't..well I don't think it will make them see aliens and post on ATS.
Just a little advice to leave you with my friend.

People here will be alot more receptive of your dis-belief if you accept their belief for what it is, theirs!

*bursts out laughing!*

wow, what a hoot.

I’m surprised at all of you… if the kitty thing… um, Devilishkitty, wants to believe that a certain class of people are or are going to become insane simply because of their own personal belief system, okay, so what? who cares?

Really, it’s (his, her, its) right to believe in whatever they want, and to rant and rave about their own personal beliefs all they want.

Unless you get personal satisfaction and enjoyment out of it, why take the bait and play the game?

As an aside, why should we all believe in the same thing? Where’s the joy, the discovery, and the diversity in THAT?

Sounds pretty boring to me.

I’ll run the risk of being ostracized, being cast out, being on the fringe, as long as it allows me to believe in the things that I’m most comfortable with.

I don’t care much for consensus or majority driven realities. More people believing in something doesn’t necessarily make it “right”.

Just because the majority of the people in America think that cars are pretty cool and a necessity for survival doesn’t make it “right” or “true”, that’s just what they happen to believe, that’s all.

Devillishkitty needs to believe whatever Devillishkitty needs to believe for reasons that only Devillishkitty can understand.

That doesn’t mean we have to believe it too.

I find it interesting that right after our wonderful Mod Fred T
stepped in
to mediate this thread, DevilishKitty seemed to disappear from posting
only then to have Gambler step in saying pretty much exactly the same
thing DK has said in this and other threads... so similar infact, I wonder
if it's the same person. Forgive me, Gambler, if you're not.

You all have such an interesting debate going on here, much like one
I was privvy to with DK again as the original author... that thread was
closed, with DK thoroughly satisfied with him/herself.

I only pop in here to say please continue you thread, but don't expect
DK to participate in a rational way. It probably won't happen. I've been
watching for a while now, and DK seems to start these little "thread fires"
a lot, leaving a lot of good folk irritated and no further along in their
discovery.

Didn't mean to interfere, but I just couldn't sit by and watch this happen
again!

Blessings!

LOL, Classic.

Personally its up to you - if you want to go crazy.

I've gone 'crazy' about many things - guitars for one, but only because it consumed me. I had to take a step back, now I'm just obsessed.

If something is trully important to you - you can't help to be consumed about it - people that can't relate, will dismiss it quickly as - you're crazy.

If your talkin 'locked up crazy rockin in your seat' scenario.
Well that may have been just a matter of time. Many things could contribute to you losing it.
But hey - I'm no doctor so take the last sentence with a couple of grains of salt.

I think it important to take time out with whatever you are passionate about - be UFO's , guitars, domino's etc...

but don't listen to this crack pot.

DKitty - opinions are like anuses - everyones got one - know what I mean.
