Hello. My name is Scott and I live in Las Vegas. Of all the places to see ufo's, I know Las Vegas is off the charts. What's funny is how little people realize what's going on. I have been seeing craft now for almost 2 years. Allot of people call them black triangles, and they are that too, but I call them by what I see. The spinning tops - because they look like spinning tops. Without a doubt triangular. They're very conical at the bottom, but with the way the tops of the craft looks they look like spinning tops. I have tons of photos if anyone has an interest. I haven't tried to spread these out to the general public but you would like them. It's nice wratcheting with all of you. Oh yeah, I also see other types of craft but more than anything else I see the spinning tops.

It could just be the US govenment testing new UFO's from Area 51? it would explain why you see them alot?

Can't say I have ever seen a spinning top in Australia, it may as said have a lot to do with your proximity to Area 51.

Welcome aboard.....

Hi Scott,

Welcome to ATS. I used to live in Las Vegas, for about 7 years. I had just left there when I became aquainted with the Internet, and more years before I discovered ATS.

So, I'm not doubting your 'spinning tops' what-so-ever. While I was living there, though, I had come to despise the 'strip' and all the tourist oriented things there, including all the neon signs everywhere - you know what I'm talking about. So, if ever I did see anything with a spinning top, I probably dismissed it as another casino or something of the like.

But what I am curious about, since I left there I think in 1999, is Area 51. I never at that time really gave it much thought, until one day, I was riding with some people, I forget where exactly we were going, but we apparently had to drive somewhere close to it. I was sort of shocked to see these signs - a lot of them, attached to a chain link (I think it was chain link) fence, that said stuff like, This is property of the US Military, anyone who attempts to enter will be shot on sight. There were other warning signs that said other types of warnings, also, and I didn't see any actual people. But then again, we were going somewhere and were only passing by, so I really only had a brief look.

But, what really got to me was the sign(s) that clearly stated that anyone attempting to enter would be shot on sight. I guess I never thought that in this country that that was even legal. Of course, like I say, it was a long time ago, and I didn't at the time have any real interest in government facilities, etc.... but I never forgot what that sign said. Is it still there? There are so many people on here (ATS) who are so very curious about Area 51, some say they have been there, but I have read no mention (although I could have missed it) of anyone else referring to that sign that I found so disturbing. I started after a while of being a member of ATS, to question my own memory.

I just wondered if you, since you live there now, would know anything about the sign that I described?
