You know, all they need is to make public the security camera footage of Beth Twitty drinking and having a grand time a bars and casino's here on Aruba. I don't know why they haven't done that yet.

What has this have to do with her disappearance or the lack of cooperation with the family?

There is no lack of cooperation with the family. Understand that. The authorities have done all they could. If the want to talk crap on the news they can't do it.

And those pictures would support the idea that this whole case is most probably a hoax.

I don't see how this case could be a hoax. I think Natalee was definitely the victim of a crime, most likely murder. The only other possibility is she could have been kidnapped and taken to South America as a sex slave or something.

We will will see, djohnsto. I hope for Natalee's sake that I'm right and that she's alive.

I think the world you're looking for is 'probability', not possibility. It's possible she was abducted by aliens, or drowned at sea, or blinked out of existence due to a programming error at the quantum level. Maybe she spontaneously combusted.

You can't really believe that the only two possibilities in this case are murder and abduction, can you?

She could very well have kidnapped herself.

I agree with you if you think it's probable she was kidnapped and sold into slavery, or murdered. But I maintain that anything is possible.

If what Bandit is saying has even a shred of truth, I would have to suspect the mother of, at the least, willfull neglect. At worst, perhaps murder or conspiracy to defraud her insurance company.

It wouldn't be the first person to try such a stunt. I don't have any inside information on the family's financial situation, but it's possible they needed the money enough to go to these lengths.

Ever heard the phrase "methinks the lady doth protest too much"; don't you think the mother is a little suspicious? Kind of like when OJ offered a bunch of money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his wife's killer, remember?

I dunno, this case has seemed fraudulent since the very start.

Since I knew nothing at all about this story, I did a little research

- and found an interesting site, I'd like to share:

The Strategic Communications Task Force

- a working group established in Aruba to address the issues surrounding the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Members of this Strategic Communications Task Force are from
  • Aruba Government
  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Aruba Hospitality & Security Foundation
  • ATIA ( Trade & Industry Association, the largest NGO on Aruba)

Q&A Aruba’s Assistance Regarding the Natalee Holloway Case

Thanks Riwka, I forgot about that website. The person heading it is our ex-governor.

I found this interesting editorial here:

    www.steveyuhas.com...

Someone from Aruba or Holland needs to hold a news conference begging people to stay away from Alabama and to visit Amsterdam instead.

There are 85 people missing in Alabama, fifteen of them minors and the state has more than a dozen missing felons (the Twitty’s are upset that Natalee got lost in Aruba when Alabama is losing felons?), 191 people are on Alabama’s death row (probably not there for petty theft) and 4,757 registered sex offenders call the Yellowhammer State home (contrast that with 3,237 sex offenders in all of the United Kingdom where more than 60 million people live compared to the 4.5 million in Alabama). Overall, Alabama is not safe and certainly not safer, statistically, than Aruba.

The good news is that Governor Riley can call Tony Blair and brag about having more perverts than all of Great Britain; the bad news is that Riley opened the door to this scrutiny and when you look at the facts – Alabama should be boycotted.

"Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in"

Maybe you didn't see this the first time Grady posted it Bandit, so as a favor to you I'll give the link again.

    www.foxnews.com...

At least Grady gave you something other than just hearsay like you are doing. It sounds as if the media in Aruba has done quite a job of brainwashing it's citizens.

And those pictures would support the idea that this whole case is most probably a hoax.

    That's grotesque!

Let's say the pictures do exist. Is the mother not able to move on and at the same time still want justice for her daughter's disappearance? I wouldn't blame her if she was a full blown alcoholic by now. To use a sports analogy here, the way the Arubian authorities have handled this case is comparable to the ball rolling between Buckner's legs.

    Peace

    Dr Love,

So when Greta is saying it it's not hearsay? When it's on foxnews it's not hearsay?? All she does is speculate and speculate, and gives her opinion, just as I am giving mine now. I see and read the actual news converences here in Aruba, and like I told you they're putting all effort on solving the case as fast as possible. There are two sides to the story, and apparently those in the U.S. are only getting one side as usual. That's why you can claim that the police here are doing a crappy job. Which I can also say about the police from the State of Alabama with their miserable unsolved cases record.

And as for the pictures. I'm not talking about August, months after where she may have gotten over it at least a little bit. What I'm talking about happened in June.

And your not getting dragged in, you're putting yourself back in the discussion...

    Hello,
I am new here and this is my first post. Thank you for letting me be a member. I have a question for TheBandit please. What reason do you have that Natalee Holloway is still alive? Thank you.
