i do work , full time. and i still rarely make it through the month and paying the bills. and in the instance of not having the internet or be able to have anti anything pages, you are reffering to stalin-russia. thats like saying you can't be a jew and live in germany. they were evil dictators , yet you think thats what everyone there is like. if this capitolism is so great how come i work full time and barely have enough to afford a one bedroom apartment in a so-so town? while others are basking in there wealth that was passed down to them , and then there are people that live better and never work a day of there life do to the fact they mooch off the goverment (ala food stamps etc.)

and you say if you want more money go to college. this poses another problem, what does it take to get to college? MONEY! unless you are get schlorships for which i was unable (not because of my neglect or anything before you start finding reasons to bash me). i can't live at home, i don't have that option. so where is one suppose to go?

You get what you put in. Simple as that. If you are unhappy with what you earn you need to work to better yourself. You complain that college takes money...ever heard of a student loan? Yes it costs money but you have the option. Once you are in a more marketable position you will get a higher paying job. The payments on that loan will be a bit of a hardship for a few years but that's life. After it is payed you are free and clear.

Put a little more time into figuring out a way to succeed instead of whining about your struggles and failures. Your job ain't cuttin' it? Get a different one. Stop by the state employment agency, look at AIDT programs or JTPA. If you are in such a bind as you say, you are either irresponsible with your money or you are in a low-paying job. If your job is low paying, you probably qualify for JTPA assistance to a 2 year training program.

I've gone through some rough times and have the scars to show for it, I've been to the bottom of the economical trash heap, and am trying to get ahead. I'll never be "wealthy" or anything like it, but I work hard, work as smart as a mediocre-minded person can, and have no desire to divide my money and assets with people who'd rather eat off my plate than fix a plate for themselves.

I say throw out capitalism and turn away from communism, too. We need something different. Something better. America is the most overconsuming and wasteful nation in the world. The sad part is, most people are completely blind to this fact because our tvs, radios, billboards, and magazines only tell us to buy more. Wear Calvin Klien, Eat McDonalds, Drink Pepsi, Smoke Marlboro. We need to wake up and start living more efficient lives. Our SUVs and Central Air conditioning are killing this planet. Personally, I hate SUV's, and I hate these stupid pick-ups that are used for anything but actually picking things up, but that's only because I can't see around the darned rolling hills-on-wheels while I'm trying to do 105 mph in a 55 mph zone!

You may be weak enough to spend-spend-spend just because the radio man tells you to do so, but I buy what I need or want and the ads merely give me choices while financially supporting my favorite right-wing radio talk shows.

You want to lead an efficient life, go right ahead! Doing away with capitalism will not prevent you from meeting your goal. Capitialism will merely allow you to earn the most money you are willing to work for and then efficiently control your stash.
I highly doubt you are looking for efficiency, though, elsewise you wouldn't be wasting time, power and money buying computers and internet access and be posting here. Or anywhere else, for that matter!

Communism looks good on paper because on paper you can figure out the one thing that in reality insures it will not work - the human effect.As long as we are humans, communism will never work.

Lookit, I know it takes money to go to college. That's why I tok student loans and worked full time. I don't need anyone telling me it can't be done, and I am a bit harsh with people who lay out weak excuses for their weak drive. MAybe that seems cold-hearted, but I think the true sin is allowing people to wallow in such weakness and become useless. Strength and drive is what drives someone to success.
I work for a company that was started by a guy from the Soviet Union. He came to a country that had a system that rewarded talent and ingenuity and people who were willing to create reality from their dream. The company is Sikorsky Aircraft, and the guy's name was Igor. I'm sure glad he didn't buy into the communist line!

You, my friend, seem to be misinformed, as you refer to economic systems as systems of government. Democracy doesn't mean everyone has equal control of everything. If your teacher is telling you that, drop out and go to work. They are obviously not preparing you for anything, anyway.
