The World Bank is meeting in Geneva to decide what their role, as unelected beaurocrats, should be in combatting the bird flu:

They may "generously" loan up to $500 million to underdeveloped countries to help stem the tide of bird flu.

Methinks this stinks of "So how much is our depopulation program going to cost us?"
