Actually you're wrong there. There is absolutely no legitimate evidence linking the CIA directly to the creation or direct support of al Qaida. The
CIA did send money (Saudi funds) to the Pakistani ISI, who had complete control over who the funds and weapons went to. They chose which warlords and
groups to support and the CIA had no say in it.
As for the CIA training the first generation of real terrorists, you're wrong there as well. Terrorist groups have been around for decades, and an
argument can be made that they've been around throughout history. However, lets just jump back to the 70's and 80's for the sake of argument.
Ever heard of Black September, Hezbollah, etc? They were around long before al Qaida and they certainly weren't funded by the CIA, as Israel and the
United States were in both groups' crosshairs.
