Erm, Belgium held this person under house arrest since 1999. When her address was leaked to the turkish press(by a Foreign Relations department insider), they had to move her because of attempts on her life.

Then in a record time the new address was again leaked to the turkish press.

So they moved her again.

Several death treats have been made and Turkey has declared that they have 120 people in Europe hunting down and killing people considered terrorists by turkey.

This girl is held under house arrest while the case against her is being built by the prosecution so a fair trial can be held. This trial and several other terror related trials have recently started.

Sorry if you think the US is correct for swifting away terror suspects to undisclosed locations without a fair trial or even a legal complaint filed against them.

But Belgium doesn't work that way. Everyone has the right to a fair trial. Since she faces a mandatory death penalty(without trial) if she goes back to Turkey, like many western nations(including the UK) Belgium does not extradite people if the country requesting supports the death penalty.

So instead of being sent to her death, she will have a fair trial and spend whatever time she is sentenced to in a belgian jail(she's being put on trial for gang-forming and possession of illigal firearms).

The reason why she is considered a terrorist by turkey is because shes affiliated with a group called DHKP-C, after a military raid on the Ümraniye-gevangenis 4 members of this group were slaughtered by Turkish Military and police.

The group set up a retribution attack in the buildings of the Sabanci-holding where one high profile bussinesman was killed. She happend to be working in the cleaning crew of this building.

She is being put on trial as a terrorist, with charges ranging from gang-forming(guess thats called racketeering in the US) and possession of illegal fire arms(which happens to have pritty steep penalties over here) and she will face justice. These crimes were commited in belgium and led to her arrest here.

An investigation in her involvement in the murder to this bussines man in Turkey was also held but virtualy no evidence apart from her working in that building and her affiliation to the DHKP was found.

If the Turkish goverment want her to be tried for murder too, they should be the ones cooperating with belgium to bring her to justice in this murder too. Instead they are stonewalling this investigation and just want that belgium sends this girl back to Turkey so she can be almost 100% certainly killed without a fair trial.

Your statement is utterly false and uneducated.

Sorry, but Britain loves to harbour terrorists. In fact the man on the right in the picture below (Haroon Rashid Aswat) was wanted for terrorist charges in the US but presumed dead by the CIA. It turns out M16 were protecting him.

In a lengthy statement that will send shockwaves around the world, John Loftus, a terrorism expert and a former prosecutor for the US Justice Department, has publically revealed that the so called mastermind of the 7/7 London Bombings, Haroon Rashid Aswat, is a British ‘Intelligence Asset’.

that pic above always seems to make me laugh everytime i see it. I think this whole terrorist plot is a ploy by the west to create the NWO.

I mean the 2 terrorists in the above pic look like something straight out of a hollywood movie. The guy on the left has a hook for a hand and the guy on the right looks like they stuck his beard on with double sided tape.

whenever I see stuff like this it just reassures me about how BS it all is.

LOL...My country does not openly support terrorists that's just plain ignorance...
basicaly all that happened was :

In their 25-page reasoned decision the court ruled that Belgian justice had no authority to make a ruling on crimes committed in Turkey.

which is pretty locical right ?

Reason why Belgium does not deliver Erdal to Turkey:

Erdal was not returned for there was capital punishment in our country. What we want is to unite the cases for crimes committed in Belgium and Turkey and try her in Belgium according to European treaties. However, the cases were separated. In the first case, she is tried of possessing bogus certificates and weapons in a way opposing Belgian laws. As for the other issue, we put it on the agenda as "terrorism". But Belgium does not consider the murder in Turkey as a terrorist crime in agreement with the interpretation of the terrorism law in 1976.

Edit: the thread starter might want to edit this "thread" title to something that's actualy true

When our own governments and "intelligence" agencies have been running, funding and recruiting "terrorists" for decades, it gets a little hard to tell who the good guys are.

NO NO NO I think you have this wrong.... Our (UK) and the American Government are the Terrorists, Not the UK in general, we Dont like our priminister since he stopped listning to the people and started listning to the cash instead, much like what happend in the US when Pres Bush came into power....

All about the money people, Terrorists are a good way of making money so naturally they want to protect that interest...

Hope this makes sence,

Daz Out

Oh and i almost forgot... EVERYONE! is entitled to a fair trial, and holding people without trial is WRONG! if we hold people for no reason we have no justice, when that dies it should be our countrys that are invaded to bring back sence to the so called "World Police" that is the UK and US

The Turkish Foreign Minister also sent tough messages to Belgium after deciding not to try terrorist suspect Erdal in connection with Sabanci’s murder

Thats one hell of a stretch, to go from that to 'its a terrorist state'.
