Drug addicts usually lose weight! Look at Ann Coulter.

Nah, hyperbole aside, I can't stand Michael Moore myself. Not since he went Green in 1999 and promoted the hell out of Ralph Nader.

Donkeys have long memories too.

It seems that most of you here baggin Michael Moore seem to want to just ignore what he says and ignore his point about what he does. You also seem to want to believe anything else but what he says. You can't give him the benefit of the doubt just a little?

Ok he own stock in Halliburton, so what. As has been already stated he's gotta earn a living, and that quote that was mentioned was made quite a while ago and he more than likely purchased the stock after he wrote that. Even if he didn't so what? One little discrepancy doesn't make that much of a difference.

And all this talk about him creating a bias film/documentary (whatever you want to call it) and twisting the facts in his favour. Yea and, he IS a filmmaker don't forget but he clearly has his own agenda, to expose the lies behind the power that be. Most of the things that people nit pick at are quite incidental, the main point of what he says still remains.

There are several major points he makes that are backed up by several separate parties. One being the Doco show "FrontLine" (a Canadian show I believe) which has said things that back up the claims of the Election Stealing, the claims of interest conflicting policies made by both bushes and the claim of the Government aiding the family of Bin to be escorted out of the country after the attacks. And so on...

Anyway, that is just my opinion, basically all I am saying is cut him a little slack. And enough with the fat jokes, I mean how old you?

Once you get to a certain level of wealth, you rarely handle your own investments. Additionally, a given company stock can be part of a wider grouped portfolio.
Yet.......some on this thread will go through convulsive fits to voice their rightous ire over Mikey, yet give free pass to an individual who created Saddam, mutually grew their wealth and then engineered and implemented the policy that has profited him 100's of millions of dollars while costing America 100's of billions of dollars and 100's of thousands lives!?!?!

Mike Moore is 3 chinned but not 2 faced, and he sure as hell is no DickC.

He is a socialist pig basing his stuff on some loose facts. Though his argument was convincing in Faerinheit 9/11, when he painted Iraq as a sunny/happy/peaceful place, I felt sick to my stomach. Iraq was ruled by a dictator and it's a sunny/happy/peaceful place? Hell, I think we should just allow dicatorship to override democracy in the West because noone is happy about democracy, right?
His argument about the war in Iraq being a lie was valid. But to validate it by using disinformation is quite evil. Bet that movie made him millions of dollers. :p

He was merely sgiving a contrast to how it was before the US invasion. Obviously it wasn't the most peacful place on Earth, but it sure as hell was no WAR ZONE like it is now.

Democrocy isn't ran by dictators? Could have fooled me.

Disinformation is too strong a term, he may have really stretched the truth but it was all basically true. And it being Evil is a bit of a stretch.
