Sorry, I'm not a follower of ANY organised religion. I prefer to listen to what my heart tells me rather than the singularly dour sermonizings of those who thumped the biblical texts from Eusebius to John Calvin and, more recently, by the honeyed tongues of the money grubbing televangelists and criminal priests which so horribly sully the name of Christianity today.

Only the Sermon on the Mount even comes close to what I 'feel' is right with Christianity and no horde of modern war-mongering, spittle-flinging, pulpit thumping mini/wannabe disciples of the current 'religion du jour' are going to change what is in my heart.

All I know is that if we are to live on this planet, we'd best take better care of it and ourselves than we have in the past.

2000 years after the Sermon on the mount and we still don't get it:

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
www.famousquotes.me.uk...

I leave it to you just who those false prophets who "gather grapes of thorns" may be.

I also point out to you the similarity to the choice which the Seven Fires gives us and the second and third line of the quote above. I bolded it for easy reading.

If anything, the words of Jesus are exactly the same.

The Fifth Prophet said that in the time of the Fifth Fire there will be a struggle between the way of the mind of the light-skinned people and the natural path of the spirit of the many nations of natural people. "As this fire loses its heat there will come among the people those who promise great joy and salvation. If the people accept this promise and abandon the old ways, the struggle will continue for many generations. This promise is false and it will nearly destroy those who accept it."

The Sixth Prophet told them that in the time of the Sixth Fire it would be clear that the promise accepted during the Fifth Fire was false. 'Those who were deceived by this promise will take their children away from the teachings of the elders. The elders will lose their purpose in life and many will become sick and die. Many people will be out of balance and the cup of life will become the cup of grief."

I know just enough about Native people's political affairs to confirm that this has been happening, for quite a while... SOME of the Elders are deeply corrupted or misguided. They've been brokers in a social contract that has put Natives even further on a path of alienation. In Canada they do business with the Ministry of Indian Affairs, but they are also these weird pacifist cults who promise that everything will be fine and they'll have their place in the NWO, with UN's support... whatever. UN's hands are stained with BLOOD.

Strikingly true... we live in those days, and even beginning the days of the Seventh Fire, with animal and plant species disappearing due to the invasive and destructive ways of the Western civilization. The facts have become obvious to the whole world over the past few years and it keeps going full speed. We must resist, and fight hard.

Notice how some information, old as the hills, is completely ignored by everyone, while other information, which is equally old has been bought hook, line and sinker by literally millions upon millions.

I wondered if you had seen this regarding at least one mention of Rainbow Warriors, having left Taiwan for the coastal area around Fukushima Dai'ichi?

www.greenpeace.org...

Additionally, I wanted to thank you for the link which I have completed study of which rings of total truth regarding our ancestry; elders without borders (now listed as last link showing on my profile). One thing I did notice was that there was no mention of things occurring prior to around 13,500 years ago (elders may be more correct at 10,000-that could be somewhat debatable) when the last portion of Atlantis sunk.

That was not our original aborginal home, our ancestors the Pleiadians brought us to; originally we settled on Mu where all of us spoke one tongue a very great time ago in our time/space continuum.

There are a few ancient sites in the Pacific Ocean area left that were researched, and numerous drawings that had been preserved for millennia were found by this man who deciphered many of their original meanings.
Link: en.wikipedia.org...
The books he authored generally can still be found due to multiple printings, and perhaps his most interesting hypothesis was that earth is honeycombed with gigantic underground gas chambers which expand and contract.

Years later plate tectonics came to be the believed source of movement.

Thanks for the link to Churchward. This is a fascinating new twist that I hadn't known of before but adds much food for thought.

That great civilizations existed and subsequently were destroyed during historical times is obvious. One needs only to look at Knossos, for instance, and understand that catastrophic natural events can have a major impact.

On the Greenpeace ships Rainbow Warrior I & II, the name does derive from the idea of al nations working together for the benefit of all mankind.

worldwatcher,
I believe the choice has not yet been completely made. What has happened in both Afghanistan and Iraq can be tied to the WTC events, it's true, but they can be seen as actions to root out the person/persons that have been 'fingered' as the perpetrator/s. So far, this has not caused an outright threat of global war.

The choice is; are we going to squander our efforts and money to making war or are we going to start cleaning our water, air and soil? I know it doesn't look good, but things are changing quickly too.

There is an opposition to war which is growing in the world, as well as an increasing concern for the environment, which tells me that there is still hope. If the strongest of the nations can refrain from lashing out blindly and be satisfied with justice rather than revenge, then, perhaps, we can begin to change our ways by focussing our efforts on balancing our needs with the needs of nature.

What Elder Commanda thinks now, I'll have to ask of him. This is the reason I'm planning to make the trip to Kanata, where he lives.

When I find out anything at all, I'll add to this thread, you can be sure.
...............................................

WIS...you're welcome. You and your friends, and all the people that are becoming aware of the amazing time we really are living in, are the voices calling for a better future.

I too, feel there is hope. It's time we all started getting along and doing what is right. Taking care of our planet and each other. I feel time is running out to make these decisions. It's hard to explain but I feel there is a reason we are here in this time. This is a cool thread, by the way.

My pleasure on the link Masqua...
Having recalled some time back a thought regarding Rainbow Warriors that there was a specific link to two spirit persons which have been documented in over 155 tribes in North America.

But not having found a direct nexus to that thought on both these sites, my thought may have been misdirected.

It may have been thought concerning the flags, lapel ribbons, wrist bands, and other paraphenalia of the struggle for gay rights around the planet.

Also I see a nexus to our original home Lemuria (Mu) and my original proximity in this life to it.

The first signs of a growing tension are beginning to show themselves.

They arrived in the darkness of a northern winter day, some holding axes, others grabbing objects in gloved hands. They tore away at blankets and birch branches. They hacked at the rope that lashed the lumber together.

In time, the aboriginal sweat lodge that Redfern Mianscum had built in his Quebec village was forcibly dismantled – not by outsiders, but by members of his own aboriginal community.

www.theglobeandmail.com...

For centuries, the people have been told that their ways are evil in the eyes of the Christians and that they must change the traditional thoughts on spiritual matters. This mantra was strictly taught in faith-based residential schools which no-one could avoid because the Government of Canada literally took the children away from their parents, put them through 'the system' and of those who survived many were then put up for adoption. The practice was forced integration and went on well into the latter part of the 20th century.

Because of this indoctrination, those who are respected as elders of the communities are afraid of any resurgence of the 'Old Ways'.

A petition demanding its removal was started by opponents, who eventually collected about 130 signatures. Then the band council passed a resolution ordering it dismantled, invoking the Cree nation’s right to self-determination.

“The community was founded by Christian faith and values of our elders and past leadership,” the resolution reads. “The members of the Cree Nation of Oujé-Bougoumou hereby declare that the sweat lodge along with any form of native spirituality practices and events such as pow-wows, rain dances, etc., do not conform with the traditional values and teachings of our elders.”

-snip-

The conflict underscores the complicated legacy of the Christian church among Canadian aboriginals, from residential schools to the missionaries who tried to suppress traditional ceremonies associated with shamanism.

On the other hand, nearly 40 years has passed since native children were ripped from their families and herded into the residential school system and a new interest in traditional values and rituals is emerging.

Now, let's compare this to what the Seven Fires Prophecy has to say:

[this is part of what the seventh prophet (the final of seven) had to say]

In this time there will be a new people who will emerge from the clouds of illusion. They will retrace their steps to find the treasures that had been left by the trail. The stories that had been lost will be returned to them. They will remember the Original Instructions and find strength in the way of the circle. Their search will take them to the elders and the new people will ask for guidance. But many of the elders will have walked the Path of the Souls to the Star Web. Many elders will have forgotten their wisdom and they will not be able to help. Some of the elders will be silent because no one has asked them for their wisdom.

Elders will have forgotten. That they would actively suppress is an unexpected feature.

On a related note, William Commanda, keeper of the Seven Fires Prophecy Belt, is close to publishing another book titled Believe It or Else in his 97th year. Though his health restrains him, he does not stop sending ut his message to the world.

I'll be sure to get a copy next time I'm in Kanata.

Thank you for this huge amount of information Masqua, even though the only reason I came upon this thread was because of your latest post with such bad news!

I had never heard of this prophecy before and will need time to read and assimilate all of the info that this thread with its links contains!
Respect!
