My question to you and I am sorry if this has been covered before in this forum is this: Could or would a government make a strain of a flue virus to make 1) money from making the resistant shot
2) population control
3) new bio weapon.

I know that is alittle far fetched but since this "new" flu is already spread to most of the major cities across the globe, its just a matter of time that it will hit the American main land.
I know that it hasn't mutated to a virus that can be spread easly to humans but what would it take a couple of days, hours, months?

Well, my concern is because its right at our door steps in Cananda they have it there. So what is stopping it from coming here to America.

I believe that it will hit us within the next 2 months.

What are your thoughts on the ATSers?

I think if you do a little research you will find that your thoughts are a little off. The deadly strain of bird flu (H5N1) has not been spread to "most of the major cities across the globe". In fact, I Believe it has only been detected in Russia, Croatia, Turkey and Romania recently, along with several asian nations.
The strain that was found in birds in Canada is not believed to be the deadly H5N1 strain, but another H5 strain, which is NOT deadly (it was in fact found in live, healthy birds). I believe this strain has been found in parts of the US and England as well.

No reason to panic yet.

Actually, avian flu has always been next door, and inside your house, as well. It remains to be seen, however, whether it's H5N1, and whether it's the same H5N1 as that which is spreading in Asia.

I don't know if I buy that the virus was made for profit... but you can't deny some pharamceutical companies have made a killing selling antivirals.

Possibly a mutated strain that was lab made for purposes we should be a little afraid of. Remember, there is a conspiracy behind every door IMHO untill proven ortherwise.

Magickman: I agree with you here, texmiller. I too think it is a sinister plot for one or more purposes, and population control is number one on the list. TPTB have been trying to kill us off for years, what with Chem trails, AIDS, Crack, Vioxx, and a host of other little things that are dangerous to our health. Nothing other then population control. I don't know about anyone else,but I have not seem as many ChemTrails this year as in the past. They are probably reverting to virus now. Like I wrote in another thread, this virus will kill off all the "Useless Eaters" so to speak. Babies, elderly and those like me with MRSA (an immune bacteria that can not be treated except with a 600 dollar IV every twelve hours for at least 7 days, I got that after my appendectomy two years ago and am blaming it on an unclean Operating Room issue. If I get this, it will kill me.

This is a way for our government to "Thin the Herd". Getting rid of the elderly, sick, and those who can not afford the vaccine will eliminate millions of dollars of Socialist Security payments. It will also cause trade with China to cease. PLUS congress will pass a law keeping people from suing the drug companies. This will turn out to be the biggest conspiracy since JFK. I have also heard that Sauerkraut may be of help warding it off, so I recommend the following:

Keep small denominations of bills in the safe

Keep coins and silver in the safe

Become proficient with a firearm and keep at least 500 rounds of ammo in the house

Learn to reload all calibers of guns you posess

Keep enough food and water in the house for 3 weeks, (including Sauerkraut)

Develop an evacuation plan to a small town with a good medical staff
