I saw a blurb in the news about nanite technology. It showed a bit about the development of 2 nanites, One that acted as extra white blood cells to destroy viruses in the human body, and the other as one that would trap oxygen and release it as time went on so that a person could triple the time they could normally hold their breath. Sorry no link or any names as i did not catch any. What are your thoughts on this?

Well the idea is cool, however the rammifications of misuse is horrendous.

I was sincerely hoping this was going to be a thread on Mystery Science Theater 3000. since it's not, though, I'm sure we'll see a lot of nanotech related stuff in coming years. I don't know if we'll see (figuratively) actual nanites in our lifetimes, though.
