I am a mouth
I am a gaping fish

Free I swim
forgetting how to open or close
these connective tissues of heart,
lips and lungs

I am amphibious
slippery green with crystal eyes of magenta
the rock is my home
and so is the water

Touch me this way
and my mouth opens sweet and timid
tender tulip, blushing rosebud
sweet 16 and sour honeysuckle

White and soft
I am a lily
spread open upon the valley
of your promises

Tell me lies
and my lips will squeeze you
with the strength of an anaconda
No. Harder!

For I am more
and unmerciful
than nature

Without want, I am eternal
opening and closing like a constant flower
my leaves and petals pointing
toward your sun

You do not live among fish
so you do not know my secret
But… I cannot breathe

Thats a nice poem. Something that sounds nice to read on a hot day, very simple and... pleasant.
Can we get a sequel? 'The Second Fishy'.

Fido Dreams of Emancipation

A dog awaits me in the kitchen
Gnawing on a bone of contention
Why have you removed my manhood?
He asks, his podgy body
curling into a question mark
In the distance a cat wails
his ears perk up
he goes back to his dreaming

Venus in Blue Water

She of the golden hair uncoiled
bared delicate breasts and
poised ankles

Infamous for tabloid intrigues
Mistress to both
Gods and mortals

Pink shelled princess,
what were you arms like?
Before the birth of the
Armless embrace

My small and self-contained atom bomb
You shimmer with the radiating glow
of a soft-serve Einstein
A mega ton of unreleased particles
awaits in you
the explosion of time

Marvellous and fluid like the Milky Way
One look at you and suddenly the motion
of the planets makes sense.

Mystically mine
you are the stars, the moon
the melting of the clocks

You are matter and antimatter
magnificent mathematical equation
The unmasking of the universe

I end where you begin
We merge and separate and merge again
Mirroring madness into infinity

(inspired by Queenannie's alliteration exercise)
