Saddam Exile Vetoed ?????

according to todays news , a 11th hour agreement for saddam plus presumably his brood to fly off into exile - leaving the way clear for free elections was vetoed by a coalition of arab leaders

the question that seems unadressed is - what was the UK and US reaction to this -

would war have been called off - if saddam had turned tail and run

and more important - would he get immunity?

UK and US gave him the option of exile i think, i remember reading an article about it. If Saddam went into exile, the Iraqi Government would probably dissolved and there probably would of been no war either.

Yeah, we did go in there with a mission. To get Saddam out of power. Either he left on his own or we come in a get him.. I think you know what happened.
