OCRW: any info?

i have recently heard of an american gun called an OCRW. does anyone have any info on this, and if poss, any pix? if so, then my mood will have to change to 'mucho apprecio'

That weapon looks like it would be a bigger mistake than the M-16,which is still a piece of # today.

I see no point in it having a bayonet, imagine trying to swing that thing around. It would make you look like a right arse

The best thing though, is that it is completely customizable (sp?) You can make it smaller if you remove the light explosive rounds add-on.

Anyhoo, the computer! I thought your supposed to fight with it, not check your bank statement!

I think it should have a machette on it, it's all about proportion.

Read a long article on the development of this gun and it's capabilities.

If true this will change warfare. The idea of the large calibre is not to shoot people but to get them via shrapnel like a grenade. The computer calculates where the shell is supposed to explode and somehow this weapon has a timed detonation.

For example to get people in a fox hole or behind cover you literally just fire over the obstacle and the round explodes right over their heads.
