Ok, lets get this straight here, just so we have an idea of who's who. Please state your stance on this issue, what religion you follow (if any), a brief explanation of why you believe what you do, and any other comments you care to make. Sound acceptable?

Some already know, I am an agnostic, and I'm very skeptical that there is a "god" or creator...or any other deity. Why? Because I've seen no scientific proof, nor have I seen any super natural proof, or any suggestive evidence for that matter.

My Stance on the Issue is Yeah I Believe in God, why ?

I don't know, I've been to University, I studied Computer Science, with this did a fair bit of Maths and Physics ( as well as a bit of Chemistry, Biology and Economics).

After all that I should not believe, but I have faith. I just cannot believe that Man is just some sub-atomic particles interacting with each other. I believe there has to be a higher purpose somewhere.

As for my religion, I am a christian of no particular Sect. I have attented many Churches over the years, from Catholic to Baptist, from Pentacostal to Church of Scotland.

I am Muslim. I was "born" and raised that way, as my parents are both Muslims and religious. I drifted away from that path at one point of my life, as teenager, but I got back on track during the war in my country ( Bosnia) and after carefuly reading the Qur'an. Some members of my family have seen or spoken with dead people, so there must be something after this life.
Also I had a very powerful vision, encounter, about 2 years ago, while having an OBE, which made me 100% sure that there is God. There were a few other paranormal things that have happened to me and my family, including a guardian angel on several ocasions.

I find a lot of comfort in the fact that this life is not all there is, that there is something greater and better, that there is a higher being who sees everything, that those who kill and get away with it in this wrold will be punished in the next.

i hope god is real. does that count as a religion? for some reason i just cant convince myself to believe and am scared to death that he will come tomarrow and i will go to hell (not joking by the way)

I am agnostic. I do not believe in any current God or gods. I need proof to believe in any such thing, not just books that have no basis in reality. I await the day, like all agnostics, of proof of a spiritual reality.

The only thing that even remotely interests me with regards to spiritualism is near death experiences. I do not think science has explained them all away yet.

I'm also an agnostic and I really dont trust anyone, hehe. I dont trust the bible, the christians or any other relegious people when they try to tell me there is a god, but I do listen to them and I respect them (far more than any atheist who denies the existance of a god), unless they start telling me that there is a god for sure and that I am wrong not to follow it blindly. I dont trust sciense either, when it tries to tell me the world was created as a result of the big bang , but I do listen to them and I do respect them unless they start telling me thats sciense is the only way and that im stupid not to follow it blindly.

I belive there could be a God and I belive there could might as well not be. Sounds like an easy answer, but thats how a feel about it

I'm going to guess your probably no older than late teens early 20s TOPS. If I'm wrong r right who cares, thats just the typical stage of life where one questions their beliefs. People have been older and younger, it's not important. What is, is that EVERYONE questions religion one time or another during this journey called life.

I know God exists, I have seen and lived through TOO much not to belief in a higher power.

Listen to whats inside of you, you know with in yourself whats right and wrong. when you stop listening to that voice inside you, thats when we start to lose ourselves.

Don't go running from church to church or from religion to religion looking or seeking the right way. You won't find it, it can ONLY be found from within. Besides, it's not important what one believes. The most important part of life is HOW one lives that life that matters.

Who or how will you be remembered when your dead, if your remembered at all...

I am a believer in God... more specifically a believer in Christ as the flesh manifestation of God (6 years and counting). No one else I trust with my soul and life but Jesus Christ... not mohamed nor budda nor john smith. I don't consider myself to belong to any partiular christian sect. I have attended many protestant and catholic churches but don't consider my self part of any of them. I am a very unconventional follower of Christ.

Well, Satyr, let me put it to you like this. I have a personal relationship with god, just like the rest of the true followers of my religion, Christianity. Now, this religion was started by gentiles after the death of Jesus, under the guidance of his apostles. usual arguments aside, That's a pretty strong foundation. I'm a non-denominational Christian, which means most people would see me as 'One of those wierd-ass born-agains..' Well, I'll tell you that God is out there whether you believe in him or not. I'm just trying to hear what he's telling me. Peace.

As a designer it is virtually impossible not to believe in God or a Creator. There are so many aspects with Creation and the species in perticular that leaves no doubt in a designer's mind if he looks into it. Life on Earth is created by masters. From the perfect symetric proportions, via the incredible functionality and strength of the human body to our spirit and the proofs that our DNA is programmed in the telomeres, limiting our life span to apprx. 120 years, the exact same age God established just before the flood as written in Genesis. How could the Jews know this? And how could the Jews know about the healing properties of penecillin and know that the Y-chromosone is identical among brothers of the same father? How could it be possible to immagine how lightbeams can write in stone like a chiesel, and what about the fiery wagons of Ezekiel and so on? It's straight out foolish to believe we and the other creatures on this Earth isn't designed. And it must be dyslectia that makes people say that Genesis doesn't have the correct narrative of the process. And if life on this planet is created, it isn't a long way to understand the whole chain of Creation back to the creation of the universe.

The book of Genesis' account on the Creation is multi faceted, it is perfect and speeks both of the past the present and the future, as well as being a key to solve most of the riddles in the bible. Genesis explains how God first created heaven and Earth, probably meaning our solar system. The observers viewpoint/perspective is terrestrial. If you take what science says about how it must have happened and change the perspective from the universal angle to the terrestrial angle, you see that the the two accounts agree. The word for create used in Creation is only used about God. God is Love and when God creates he manifests Love. When the Sun and the Moon finally became visible through the smoke, fog and clouds God Created the Sun and the Moon to be witnesses of God's love in the Heavens. He had made them earlier when he set off the Big Bang, but didn't Create them until much later.

I am Agnostic/Athiest. I put them together because I am teetering on the brink of Suspended belief and no belief at all.
I used to be a Christian but it just didn't work and before you religious nuts start (:p) preaching, no, I am not turning back.

So thats my stance on this whole thing, the sooner there is no religion the better. No more 9/11 style attacks, no more racial hatred. IMHO too many wars have been caused by religion.

Lets get one thing straight for those who say "the sooner there is no religion, the better."

News Flash: Isn't going to happen....Religion is here to stay! It pre-dates written history and will never cease. The sooner that you "genie in a bottle wish freaks" get it through your obviously "thick" skulls, the better!

Whether you believe in God or not, will it eventually matter? I guess we will all find out when we take our last dying breathes......

Religion is not the cause of war, religion is a TOOL of war. Reasons to start a war are power, money, greed, revenge, hatred. Religion is used to mobilize the masses. Other things can be used too, like patriotism, you dont need religion to start a war.

The fact that man has changed religion into a tool of hatred doesnt not mean that God doesnt exist. God gave us religion in its pure form, good, its man who twisted it.

I've seen a couple in here say they need proof of God's existence.

Just open your eyes and look around. Go to the mirror and look at yourself. The proof is everywhere.

Creationism, evolution it is one in the same. Something started this universe. Think it just started all by its little bitty lonesome? Think 1,000,000,000,000's of snowflakes that fall and not one looks alike is not evidence enough? Think the tightly packed atoms that hold this illusion together but never actually touch are just coincidence?

Scientifice proof? Ask the physicists what power could possibly be strong enough to hold all this intact. What energy is it? They really can't answer. It is well beyond their comprehension. The speed and strenght at which an atoms components move cannot really even be comprehended.

As most in here know I am of no religion. However, I KNOW there is a God and a Holy Spirit within each of us. I have seen the Divine Light. and I don't mean it the way many do. I HAVE really seen it.

To deny God's existence is to deny your existence.

I don't mean to sound foolish or anything but: WOW!! What did God look like when you saw him/her? What did he sound like when you heard him? Also, where did you walk with him at location wise? Was he walking with legs like you and that kind of thing?
I am serious about these questions also, don't take this as me being rude please.....

I think it did start by its self most people cant face the fact that there is no god. If there were a god our planet would be full of peace.
