Most haunted - "its a fake"

Derek will go out with a bang, alright, my theory is that he will get taken over by Jack the Ripper and go stalking people down whitechapel

I don't know when it will be on for you first showing of it is 4pm here in USA so figuring 5 hour difference it would be 9pm for you (if I remember my time differences correctly that is )

What happened last night I only saw the first hour of it -- Were there any lead in to tonights show with Jack the Ripper??

All shows in this genre are fake. Everything is so set up it's ridiculous. Stop and think who is filming all of this stuff. There are cameras everywhere. SO why do they even need a person to walk around? Obviously to build up the hype. No hype = no show.

No self-respecting entity would stick around for such a videophile party.

Except for TAPS, who don't use psychics, except for the last episode when the psychic was in the house they were studying. Also, TAPS is like 5 guys and 2 girls who pay for the 450 dollar cameras out of their pocket, therefor they can't buy 50 of them to cover every square inch of the house, why they ask "What are the usual hot spots" and place the cameras they have in those places while they go through the rest of the house/prison/ship/museum.

Iv'e never seen the show "TAPS" yet so I can only speculate.

To imply they are not in it for any monetary gains, is ridiculous. They may HAVE bought 450 dollar cameras in the past out of their own pockets, but I don't think that is an issue now.
From what I've read on some other web sites, the boys (plumbers) seem to be making out quite nice right now.

Whether or not the interest will hold up will be another matter.

First off ghost are real. ive had experiences that prove it. Most haunted is gay because that medium is so unbelievable. I didnt need to have someone tell me that he was faking. Ghost Hunters is good and you must not watch it often because they never prove that ghosts dont exist as well as they have had some occurences of activity that cannot be explained. Perhaps you should have watched last night. But I reiterate Most Haunted is the worst ghost show ever.

Tbh there is no direct proof that any ghost show is 100% real...

We have to accept and believe that what they are saying is real.
We cant see if there are any other people down in a dark damp cellar when they have said they are on their own...

When something smashes, and they all scream saying omg where did that come from, again we have to accept that they are on their own, when they could not be !

So all in all, u just have to make your own judgements. Are these people really on their own, or is someone helping the show sell by doing spooky things ?

I guess it all comes down to - DO GHOSTS EXIST, DON'T THEY EXIST ? I GUESS YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF TO FIND OUT !!!!

Um, yes, OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET! They don't charge people to come to their homes, they have done this for years, long before they appeared on Sci-Fi, and even now they do their own things with out Sci-Fi recording it. These people use their day jobs to pay for their equipment, unlike Most Haunted or PRS, so why they don't have 50,000,000 cameras to place everywhere.

I just sent an email to antix productions asking is the show is fake or not. I will reply to this thread when they reply to me!

Hey now the first feeling would be yea.....ok.......sure....

but ive been to Antix and they only have around 5 - 15 people there at any given time. And they have to sort though thousands of emails.....so meh i dunno

Also Derek has utterly ruined Most haunted. actually that goes for all mediums. They are fake. well....PERHAPS SOME PEOPLE have "the gift", but it will only be like 0.001% of the population, and i would think it would be people with IQ's of around 300! .

But all they do is cast more doubt on an already doubtful field.

I don't know if I agree with the IQ thing - personally I do believe that there are people who have gifts (although a lot of what you see out there are people just out to make a buck) but I think that it is more a fact of using a different part of the brain that we normally do. So I guess I am saying that I feel that we all have the ability to use that part of your brain but we don't -- just like we could all play piano if we worked at it but we don't. Also that people with the gift are like a person who has a gift playing the piano -- it will be much better than if I learn the mechanics of playing but don't have that special something that means you could play the piano and bring people to tears of joy and I could only bring them to tears.

I only meant that it could possibly be that someone with a more advanced brain would be more likely to have these abilities. OR perhaps in some people, some parts of the brain spontaniously overdevelop, causing "the gift", but i dont know.

I stick by my 0.001% of the population of the world even have the possibility of having "the gift"

Did anyone actually spend four hours of their lives watching this bad Blair Witch rip-off? If so, did I miss anything important?

Looks like Brian came back to TAPS. He was let back in, and was in the Halloween episode. (Yeah, maybe I should have been out bar hopping, but I wasn't) Anyway they came up with some interesting footage. Like some mist, definite cold spots, and a moving shadow figure.

Interesting was though that they got radio DJ's on the show, after doing an interview with yvette, on last nights latest episode. They seemed genuinely frightened and heard laughter that yvettes heard in her right ear, and theyre not part of the show. Even cairen okeefe (cant spell him) admitted that he took it to a sound specialist who cannot explain it, and its definately not human (aka someone from the show) and just no explanation for it, so at least SOME "evidence" is coming through the stacks of baloney to, if nothing else, prove that there is SOMETHING not quite as it seems.

Oh and incase you didnt watch it i think it gets repeated sometime this week. And Yvette was crying on scott mills' shoulder, which seemed.....not acting, because it is actually quite hard to break down in tears in a split second, and to be honest she looked really terrified.

I mean, maybe the show is partailly fake yea, but some of it isnt.

Ok so maybe some unexplained noise maybe it was intentionlly sounded so taht you couldnt pinpoint it but Derek uis a fraud like most are. Have you seen dead tenants more nutty hoaxers I dont know wheteher they are hoaxing or jusat plain crazy. the fat lady is pretty funny though. sounds like shes having sex with the ghosts when they posess her. lol I think Taps is the best show they are scientific abnout it and approach it like skeptics. Good show guys. Blowing all the other bs off the air.
