Question about Syria

So I was thinking if the States goes a head and begina a war with Syria do you think Iran would attack the States from the other side? Reasoning would be that they would think that they are next and a preemtive strike could cause the states much trouble fighting a war on both sides of Iraq. Then again Isreal could come in and help. Is this senerio even possible.

Don't be daft, US and "coalition" troops are there to fight Israels enemies. Israel just prods, pokes and provokes the opponents then cries for help rather than having any of their own soldiers blood shed.

No way in heck Iran would try to attack us from the other side if we attacked Syria. Israel would definitly help the good 'ole USA out. I respect Israel and we (the US) should protect her at all costs.
