Bizarre Thing in Post

its random...

it appears now and again.

I mean 'flagging'...inserting something into a post which will pull it out from among the rest for study. I have no idea why I think this way...could be the 'conspiracy mindset' I've nurtured. Could be all my years in a sensitive facility...
About the greyed out' stuff, like 'FaLinG', I saw it appear in a post and when I returned to the same post later...you're right...it disappeared.

The 'periods', however, seem more permanent.

I love a good mystery, don't you?

Masq - can you show us the periods? I haven't seen any yet.

Edit: Just to confirm they are permenant and that we can see them to - like it's not just you.

Okay, I see the period, but I also just caught another faLing on that thread . Don't all run, I'm sure it will be gone any second.

I've noticed those periods in Sofi's posts long before this...

And they're also in the regular black, not the light grey of the other messages.

Have any mods commented on this?

Kinda looks like an odd way to flag stuff in the programming code...
But code flags shouldn't normally be seen or printed.

That's how I feel about most of the stuff I see here. Perhaps a mandatory drug testing policy would clear up this case of mass hallucinations.
