This associated press article caught my attention to day and I could not believe the implications of what I am reading here.
The courts are in process of now causing citizens to be burdened even when court cases are won or lost.. I fail to understand why it was ordered that
a defending city had to pay the lawyer fees of a woman who sued a particular city.
The case was a 2001 case where city council meeting had a mention of Jesus Christ in a prayer.. a practicing Wiccan sued the city and won. But
somehow.. the City is ordered to pay the lawyer fees of the person who sued them.
I sometimes wonder about the mentality of of the lawyers and courts in the American Society...
