No that makes them armed, forces implies they are under a supreme command, they are not.

They are under the command of the US government authority in Iraq.

I am not talking about the Security guards working for Iraqis, and companies, I am talking about the ones working for the US Government.

They represent armed forces.

Those sites both say simply "military contractors" or "private security" it doesnt state the exact number under US government payroll.
You might be confusing US companies with the US government..

There is always the possibility that Saddam gets found "not guilty". Then what happens? They would have to set him free. Things would certainly get ugly then. Does anyone suspect there will be a fair trial?
