either way, whatever story they are offering, this looks like the first of it's kind to tackle this topic, and I'm on it the first day it comes out!

According to Jon Gress, the director/producer of this film, release is tentatively set at early '06. He also mentioned that they are in process of updating the films website. Post production labor is what is slowing things down as they are a relatively small team with a huge task in front of them. You can go to Yahoo! Groups and join the 1Anunnaki group to get this information.

From Yahoo! Groups:

Hiya folks!

Actually, I have posted our estimated release date quite a few
times here, though we have recently revised the date up to early
2006 (we will premiere at film festivals worldwide before going
for theatrical release and will keep you posted for dates/cities
as well).

We are currently in post-production (which as a small groundbreaking
production team is an enormous amount of work - movies like Day After
Tomorrow require hundreds of FX artists from a whole slew of FX houses
working 60-80 hour weeks for YEARS sometimes to finish a movie... we
are tackling as many FX shots in this movie with a core group of
artists you can count on one hand... so that should give you an idea
of how much work is involved and why we don't post an exact realease
date yet... it's important that the movie be ready and not hurried).

I'm sorry our web site lags a bit (yes we are the web team as well)
but a major upgrade to the website will be forthcoming soon!

Keep tuned here as this newsgroup will know just about everything
before anyone anywhere else regarding the movie!

Best regards,

Jon Gress

This is a hoax innit. This movie has been "just around the corner" for release for years now...

Anyone have any new info on it ? Or is it just not going to happen !?!?

There are still messages being posted in the Yahoo! Groups section for the movie but beyond that I know not what is going on. Last I heard, about Dec. '06 was that they are still in post production.

I didn't realise Brooks Agnew was involved in the production, he has produced several interesting books one of which I just finished talks about the origins of the earth and more.

Yeah like in threads like this

or are you suggesting one of those antiques they called 'books" or something like that?Ofcourse one could even try to turn OFF the computer and experience life

As to the movie 1Annunaki... it is currently in post production The film makers are on group and I will pass this thread on to them right now.

Its a private group and to do it right does take time and money... but the project is not dead...

Edit to add:

Oops I see Defragger already linked all that

So you mean to tell me that in all the massive multi-volumed "Translations of the Sumerian Tablets" - over twenty big, thick books there isn't much of a story to tell?

I found this

I want to see this. anyone heard of it or seen it? Can't find out much about it yet, I've been wondering when their would be a film done on this subject. Makes sense that this is not coming from Hollywood, it's too challenging to the accepted model of history we've all been taught (through Hollywood).

I know the director of this film. He was my last quarter teacher at film-effects school.
One of my classmates did a huge amount of the effects on it also.

I have a promotional T-Shirt and baseball hat he gave us all.

they say "1ANNUNAKI" in BIG gold letters with a disc with wings on it.

let me tell you... I got some SERIOOOOUUUSLY head turning eyebrow raising looks from security and other staff at the Denver International Airport while strolling through there on a long layover....wearing that T shirt.

It was unnerving.. like.. many puzzled "interested" looks..
and not in a "this average looking joe-shmoe american might be a tera-rist" way..
in a difinitive.. "wait whaats that on his shirt?? whoah.. what the helll?" way.
no joke.

wait how would THEY know.. would they suspec...

Don't doubt it too much...
Yes we will be releasing it... when it's done.
I know it's hard to understand for the non-filmmaker, but doing a movie
of this size with the small amount of raw manpower we have just plain
takes time... This movie is completely independent and so doesn't have
the resources big hollywood films have to "just bring on a couple hundred
people" (check out the extra features on such movies as Sky Captain,
who complain throughout the BTS how they suffered so with so little money
behind them - they had in the tens of millions)... We are actively working
on the movie and anticipate completion in the very near future.

Best regards,
Jon Gress

I love movies, especially fact based movies, but to imply that Sumerians were Earth's first civilization is not only ignorant. but a well documented load of crap. Whoever is making this claim needs to reword their statement or do a little, and I mean very little, amount of research. Give me a break, 10,000 years, Sumerians??? Earth's first civilization?? Don't be ridiculous.
