Crutzfeld-Jacobs in Idaho?

Has anyone seen the news that there has been an outbreak of something like Crutzfeld-Jacob's disease in Idaho? Not sure if it has been linked to Mad Cow Disease. It's being investigated right now.

My thought is that this could be a new or different variant of Mad Cow disease, some other prion-based infection.

I do believe there may be more out there than you know.I have insides to the goings on in the hospital I work at, I know that my FedEx delivery man is constantly couriering around samples of Crutzfeld-Jacob's Disease from a woman here in Ontario. She is fine, for now I suppose, but when he told me that I was quite worried because it is obviously not publicized or anything, for the woman's privacy and such. I thought that might be of interest to some people on this board...I actually had no idea small cases like this existed anywhere in North America even but I guess I was a bit naive on the subject of Mad Cow and humans. Becareful around FedEx trucks while driving. Heh.
