'Bush's brain' may step down

Topic started on 18-10-2005 @ 03:40 AM by Sauron

I see this as Rove and Libby taking a dive to protect their bosses Bush and Cheney the cabal leaders of this vendetta.

He says he will step down to fight charges, more like to stop the buck at him.

'Bush's brain' may step down if charged with leaking agent's identity

Snip~~
The White House was in a state of near siege yesterday as it emerged that Karl Rove, President George W Bush's key adviser, will almost certainly step down if he is indicted in the investigation into the leak of a CIA agent's identity.
With all Washington holding its breath for the results of the investigation, a source close to Mr Rove told Time magazine that cutting his ties to the White House would allow him to fight "any bull# charges".

Karl Rove is known to critics as ‘Bush's brain‘
~~
An alternative scenario is that the two aides would go on unpaid leave if indicted. But this is seen as less likely as the White House would face an outcry if Mr Bush did not formally sever his ties with his key strategist. Mr Rove's official title, White House deputy chief of staff, hides an extraordinarily broad and influential role overseeing key political and policy decisions.

When I saw the title, I thought "Bush's brain to step down? You mean he has one?"

Charges revealing all could come any day now, but most likely won't.

Rove stepping down is a defensive measure to draw scent and public attention as Fitgerald actually investigates Cheney.

But who knows. A conspiracy charge could haul them all in at once. Kind of hard to indict the brain and not the black little heart pumping it blood.

so this was the case where one of the CIA agents were identified, heck, it sure doesnt make any sense, why would the guy do that? there has to be some kind of explanation, it seems like the case is going to be a big one,

Rumors fly of Cheney's resignation.

This was the plan B actually reported some time ago for Condi 08. It may be in deploy mode now that Cheney is looking especially ripe for indictment.

The whole issue is becoming more complicated for the white house when the name of cheney has been mentioned.

Occurs is a lot of speculations as what will be next.

But I also feels that perhaps the whole thing with Rove was to take away from Cheney all alone.

I guess the pieces of the puzzle will fall in place eventually.

Now listen children, before the "brains" step down there will probably be some kind of attack (of the mushroom people) or the equivalent distraction, if you will, and i fully expect the diversions to start very very soon...ummm yes, an example would be the closings of the Maryland bridges...

I do beleive we're off and running now!
