Principia Discordia

<<  1    2  >>

Topic started on 15-10-2002 @ 12:26 PM by Tyler

OKEY. Since Byrd isn't here we gonna have to crack this matter ourselves.

All of you remember the time when Byrd cracked down the "official" Illuminati webiste - illuminatiorder.org... ?

Discordians claim to be sort of a counter acting illuminati.
Their site is
www.principiadiscordia.com...

Any hackers in da house? Get your arses in gear and find out the following:

Webmaster AND sponsor (organisation/person who is paying for this) name, location and occupation.

And any other info you might dig up.

This is very important. Lets see if they are who they say they are.

Let's get on with it.

it's not really hacking, it's just going to alldots and typing in "principiadiscordia.com"

unfortunatly they've locked everything up, they do'nt want anyone to know about it. but i'd bet it's from the cabal is georgia that prints it and sells it to amazon.com

I know this is an old topic, but TOO FUNNY! I'm the webmaster for principiadiscordia.com, I pay for the website hosting myself, and I'm not affiliated with anything. Sorry to wreck your little conspiracy theory... it was nice to be speculated about

Fnord indeed.
LMAO. From the intro to principia discordia:

increasingly, people wrote to ask me if Timothy Leary had written it, and I almost always told them he had, except on Friday's when I am more whimsical, in which case I told them it was transmitted by a canine intelligence.
. . .
Robert Anton Wilson

p.s. don't let THEM immanentise the eschaton.

The first thing I saw when I got to the site is "FNORD". Old, weird joke about the Illuminati... still funny.

You can read the whole Principia right here, and I will happily answer any questions you have about Discordianism, its practitioners, and its practices.

I also highly recommend the mostly-fiction "Illuminatus!" trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson as an elaboration upon the themes present in the Principia. The books deal with the Illuminati and various efforts to oppose them in the name of a healthy balance of order and disorder, and they make a number of profound and highly valid philosophical points along the way.

Feel free to U2U me if you want to know more about Discordianism. I'll try to keep the evangelization to a minimum.

Who is the Omnibenevolent Polyfather of Virginity in Gold ?!

That's one of the titles Malaclypse the Younger, Discordian holy man and author of the Principia, gave himself.

The ability to confer titles of holy or esoteric import upon oneself or others (with varying amounts of force depending on the willingness of the others) is just one of the fringe benefits of Discordianism.

Have you read the illuminatus trilogy? Very funny, on the same lines as the principia discordia.

The Invisibles

But it sounds a little like this!

Can they be compared?

The Invisibles is a somewhat darker Illuminatus Trilogy for the 21st century... they can be compared for hours on end.

(edit): if anybody here really wants to read the Invisibles (and I highly recommend it), drop me a line on AIM sometime and I can probably hook you up, if the file transfer works. I have the whole series in scanned .jpg form.

That looks very cool. Thank's for the suggested reading. The Illuminatus Trilogy is somewhat more novel form, but appears to be much the same idea. It is also one of the funniest books I ever read.

I sense the dark art of necromancy.

too bad both sites have been dead for so long not even these powerful necromancer can give them unlife.
