To me its a form of scrying as mentioned above by others...however its a recognised and fully utelised 'tool' in bereavement therapy etc......with
apparently very good results.
The person pretty muych always sees the loved one, literaly as they are used to 'seeing with the eyes' (even tho we dont hehe!)and it apparently
gives great closure and comfort.
In fact this very thing was mentioned by Ciaran O Keefe in a books he's co written I was reading the other week funnily enough.
Probably like the past life thing from a psychology point of view etc....it doesnt matter if the images/experiences are 'real' so long as they give
the desired outcome (relief/comfort/closure etc).....theres a proper psychological explanation for it apparently but I cant remember it all for
The fact that its being used in this way 'mainstream' is interesting to me (for other resons) but personally I see all sorts when I do this type of
thing but I believe most of it is like some kind of visual 'mind clearing' (like when you are aware of your thoughts before you shift your awareness
etc)....I know once you do shift your awareness you can see other things but to me this is like a visualisation/meditation done with the eyes open
Who knows what it is people are actually 'seeing'....to me whats far more interesting is how it seems a good way of getting people away from the
idea that we 'see' with our eyes etc!
And I too would be very interested in what a brain/eye specialist/person who employs this technique in therapy has to say about it too!
Thank you for posting this, never heard of it, but I am definitely going to have to try this now. Maybe Ill get to meet bloody Mary after all.
Again, thank you. Ill have to get the right setup, but when I get results, Ill be sure to make a post in the gray area.
