Besides the whole idea of "good" vs. "evil" is an abstract one, we gain our moral's from our society, so people in other countries percieve "evil" as different than we do.

we are our own worst enemy.
the druids also needed to defeat all their demons to meet the goddess. the "demons" were their own worst fears and shortcomings.
