Ach. What a toughie. See, I was tempted to include something by Genesis, but you clearly said Phil Collins and the real answer is there IS not 'best' Phil Collins' song.

If I am forced, I will choose Against the Odds

so now back to the game...

Wham! (I think it has an exclamation mark)

The way I feel about Wham (and George Michael) is the way you feel about Mr. Collins the drummer.

Since this is a prototype, from this point, when you name your artist, include your favorite track. Next person names their fav from that artist, then new artist & favorite.

Ohio Players (previously) - Fire

Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl

I hate to come off sounding like a jerk, yeahright, but this is my prototype, one might call it a 'brain child', even--and the adjustment to the rules pretty much ruins the whole premise from which the game started out as the time I first thought of it. And I can't stand by and watch you kill my thread. If any killing is going to be done around here, I'll do it.

It's not about what all our favorites are, it's about the strange but true fact that music lovers love music, and we often really like one certain song from someone would never be caught buying a CD of. We can all name our favorites--there are multiple opportunities for such a thing in the music forum. That's not technically a 'game,' either.

And so, again, I apologize for being a jerk, but I am only trying to assert myself in regards to something I have a direct interest in.

So if Nik would be so kind as to pick up where we left off, and name a band or artist?

I hope I have not offended you to the point of bowing out, yeahright--I do hope I haven't, sincerely, but I must say I don't think it's cool to change the rules like that, especially after one turn at it.

No biggie. I'm glad you didn't leave.

Why don't you name a band, then?
