Simple. It became obsolete IMO. Spintronics will be the future for both data storage and non-volatile memory. It's most likely to be housed in some
sort of crystaline form but I think nanotechnologist's are still getting around how to efficiently manipulate and manufacture at the Angstrom scale
for me to be able to make a solid prediction on that, the Isreali's have a working Genetic computer now btw.
