It's possible that you picked up something while surfing the internet that has suddenly begun to operate in the background without your notice or approval...hogging up your resources...


Bing bing bing!


Glad to see you're out of the woods. Another thought...pick up another 256MB of RAM and pop it in...and you'll have more of a buffer when these things occur, so you can clean it up without the slowdown....

It's not as slow as it was but it's still not where I'd like it to be. I'll keep working on it. Thanks for the help everybody!
